Time for Ward 5 to pay attention.
I’m tired of crumbling sidewalks, neglected infrastructure, parks that become unusable for months during winter, and a ward that too often feels like an afterthought.

I also believe criminal conduct matters when we are choosing people for public office. Karen Cilevitz pleaded guilty to fraud under $5,000 in 2022 and received a three month conditional sentence. That is part of her public record and voters should consider it alongside her performance in office.

Forget the lawn signs and the habit of voting for the same familiar name.

Research the candidates. Look at their records. Look at what has actually been accomplished in Ward 5. Then make an informed choice.

Whatever you do, don’t be lazy about this election. Our community deserves serious scrutiny of the people asking to represent us.

Hi all, my mum passed away a few days ago, and the funeral homes charge $900 for a simple wooden box to store the remains. I've tried a bunch of stores in Richmond Hill that I thought might sell appropriate wooden boxes, but I have come up short. I am willing to drive anywhere in the GTA to get something. I'm also willing to accept anything halfway dignified as a temporary solution until I can get something really nice.

I am so turned off by the number of signs illegally placed by the new candidates

Most of them are clearly ignoring Richmond Hill & York Region bylaws.

If they dont follow rules now before they are elected, how can we possibly trust them as our voice on council?

Does anyone know if there’s a red light camera at Bloomington Road and Bathurst Street? I was driving westbound on Bloomington and turned right onto Bathurst, heading northbound. Just wondering if there’s a camera at that intersection. Thanks!
