Recently had my Ricoh griiix urban edition stolen in Austin Texas, just wanted to post here in case anyone sees it for sale online somewhere. I’ve attached a picture of the serial number. Some identifying features are the hot shoe mount is all silver instead of black, and there’s some slight damage on the playback button where the border is chipped.

Absolutely love and miss this camera, if anyone finds it I’ll happily reward you and can provide a police report with proof it was stolen.

Spent this weekend exploring Drave, a remote, uninhabited traditional schist village nestled in the heart of the Serra da Freita, Arouca, Portugal. It is also called the "Magical Village". Easy to see why.

Three new updates to the free GR Recipe Lab (https://callmeseva.cc/recipelab/) that I am quite excited about:

1. More intuitive exporting feature that makes it easier to share your recipes.
   
2. New "How it works" section with the color engine explanation
   
3. OPEN SOURCE! Yes! I've finally made the color engine of GR Recipe Lab available to everyone. Plug and play into your app (as long as you do not charge use)

I’m not the most confident photographer and Marrakech proved especially challenging, but these are some photos that I’m reasonably happy with. I definitely felt out of my comfort zone, especially as when I’m on holiday, photography isn’t the primary focus, but I like the way it fits around my life like that, and you never know when you’ll get the urge to get the camera out!

I’m just curious, this is another AI image isn’t it? There is no GR model with a red tag on the lens and no flash as far as i know? There are some other strange artifacts as well.

It does say AI content in the upper left and the image looks typically AI, it’s just so weird that it doesn’t even match an existing camera.

It’s a quite strange choice from a camera company.

Photos posted on this sub are consistently superior - creatively and technically than on many other photography subs.

Is it because only more dedicated photographers are drawn to this camera or just the fact that it so portable that you are more likely to have it on you at the right time?

My camera is still new but this was a straight one shot with the high contrast settings.
It’s a very nice camera and I enjoy every moment.

Hey all! Noticed this weird static noise coming from my camera. It’s pretty audible and I don’t think I’ve heard it before. Wondering if it’s normal or not. I also, don’t know if it’s been asked before. You can hear it in the video as I put the lens near my phone’s microphone. Thanks in advance!
