1803 Linen Day-Date WG - 1975 Quest Complete
I turned 50 year last and went out to find a watch to commemorate. I wanted something from late 1975. While the double red sea dweller and red submariner, were in running, I ultimately decided upon a white gold Day-Date with linen dial. I was able to locate a one in great shape but it didn't have original white gold president bracelet. Loving the dial, I bought it and since then have been on hunt for bracelet. Almost a year later, having hunted in NYC, Paris, and online, I finally secured an A code (1976) bracelet which matches perfectly with the serial number for watch. It's been a fun year searching for this. Now onto the next quest.

How much is this watch? I think it’s very nice and might want it more than a current D/D

A white dial with bracelet currently listed Chrono 24 for 30k although not hidden clasp bracelet and it is older (1967). The 18039 is very similar and slightly easier to find. There are a number of beautiful dial variation of these. I'm just partial to the linen. Probably most valuable are the Stella dials which are 2-3x cost linen. I bought the watch head first for 14k with original box and aftermarket strap then eventually trade some pieces for the band.
