The little pre lift section with the mist is pretty cool. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from Thorpe in terms of theming but I was really impressed by Nemesis Inferno and Swarm.

what was the downtime like on the rides at thorpe when you went? i'm going on saturday and really hoping to be able to get on stealth and hyperia

Bad in the morning but by 1 o'clock, it was clear for the rest of the day. Today was BUSY, so I suspect Saturday will be worse. A lot of the queue times reached 120 minutes

thank you! i grew up waiting 2-3 hours for rides in thorpe park so that sounds about what i'd expect

I went last month and they withheld hyperia opening until 11 which I wasn't very happy about. Generally not terrible on downtime

I do like Inferno. It's a shame it gets compared to Reborn so much because of poor name choice. But I do prefer the mother herself.

I can respect it. Inferno has more fun pacing Iā€™d say, Reborn is relentless. I do prefer Reborn myself though. And no lie, it having the sickest looking track of any coaster probably helps.

I think it's a better ride if you ignore the setting and I felt the same when I first went on inferno (towers is my local) but you know what, there's just something about how reborn is cut into the ground that gives it something special

I don't understand why they gave it this name when there is also Nemesis in the same country.

Itā€™s exactly because another coaster had the name Nemesis that they did it. Both Alton Towers and Thorpe Park were owned by the Tussauds group at the time so they called it Nemesis Inferno to get some cross promotion from, the already very popular, Nemesis.
