Discussion Jack the ripper case theory

Sooo i was bored and thought about this case once more and I have theories and i don't know if they're stupid or helpful but hear this

(Sorry if my english is not that great as it's not my first language)

according to me and the history

my first primary suspect will be the

cabinet secretary as they are the one getting about the info of the cases by Scotland yard

then another primary suspect will be the people close to Frederick Abberline or Donald Swanson as they can slip in and get an idea

and another suspect can be a divorced viscount or a viscount with a dead wife

Reason

Cabinet secretary: In 1888 London, it was actually a well-known practice called "slumming." Wealthy aristocrats and politicians from the rich West End would frequently put on old, rugged clothes and travel into the poor East End (Whitechapel) out of curiosity, or to visit underground clubs. Because of this, it is entirely possible that a high-ranking official could walk the dark alleys of Whitechapel without anyone realizing they were a powerful government figure.

The reason why I also choose a viscount and not a Prince, Duke, Marquess or an Earl is bc of the fact that a prince is surrounded by butler and maids who can easily confess when threatened plus the palece might be having record of when and how he left a Duke and Marquess are also are mostly surrounded by public and the fear of being betrayed by a butler or maid and risk of loosing their tittle and same goes with a earl but a viscount on the other hand is almost forgotten or not surrounded by the public eye plus they are rarely confronted

In simple words

The High Nobility (Princes, Dukes, Earls): Their households were massive. A Duke or Earl would have a house steward, a valet who dressed him every day, carriage drivers, footmen, and dozens of maids. If an Earl tried to sneak out at 2:00 AM covered in blood, his valet or the night-watch footman would immediately notice. The risk of blackmail or betrayal was massive.

The Viscount Rank: As a Viscount (which sits lower on the peerage ladder), an aristocrat would still be incredibly wealthy and have access to the finest education and surgical tools. However, their households were much smaller and less scrutinized by the public eye. They could easily maintain a small townhouse in London with minimal staff, or simply tell their few servants not to disturb them, allowing them to slip out unnoticed. They had the wealth of the upper class, but the anonymity of a regular citizen.

And the people close to

Donald Swanson and Frederick Abberline

can be the people like their wife

Or

a close friend or

noble friend or

any family member/doctor

So

The History: Frederick Abberline was married to Emma Abberline, and Donald Swanson was married to Julia Swanson. Both wives were highly respected, lived quiet domestic lives, and supported their husbands through the extreme stress of the 1888 manhunt.

The Profile: If a killer was close to the wives—perhaps a trusted family doctor, a cousin, or a close friend who visited their homes—they could easily ask casual questions like, "How is Frederick handling the case? Is he close to catching the monster?" The wives, speaking naturally out of worry for their husbands, might drop crucial details about police exhaustion or secret patrol locations without ever realizing they were feeding information to the killer.

The History: Inspector Abberline and Chief Inspector Swanson frequently had to interact with wealthy patrons, politicians, and high-ranking members of Victorian society who were fascinated by the case or demanding updates.

The Profile: A wealthy Viscount who befriended Abberline under the guise of "wanting to help the police" or offering funding to the investigation would have a perfect cover. They could sit down with the detectives for a drink, listen to them vent about the case, and pick up top-secret operational details. Then, using the disguise techniques, that same nobleman could slip into Whitechapel completely prepared.

The History: Donald Swanson’s family circle actually included people with medical backgrounds (his own son later became a doctor). Because the Ripper murders required anatomical knowledge, historians have always looked closely at doctors associated with the police.

The Profile: A family member or close friend who was a surgeon or medical student would have access to the exact tools used in the crimes. If they were close to Swanson or Abberline, they could hang out at the precinct or the detectives' homes, casually looking at the desk where crime scene photos and autopsy reports were laid out.

And the reason why I chose the divorce man or a Widower man is because we are humans and jack the ripper might also did his actions based on emotions. A man grieving a dead wife or bitter over a divorce might have had the psychological motive or rage that fits the brutal nature of the crimes.

Plus grief and anger can turn anyone into a monster

If we look into the case it can be more like animes like

Death note

Moriarty the patriot

And

Black butler

It’s highly unlikely that JtR was anywhere close to nobility or wealth; that’s a theory that people perpetuated as the crimes were happening because it was a sensational idea. There’s never been anything that gives such theories any credibility.

The reality is that JtR was someone who never appeared on a suspect list—or, if they did, their name isn’t one that any reputable agency has focused on yet. Within a population as large as Whitechapel’s in 1888, there was bound to be hundreds of discontent men who took out their violent urges against sex workers, and JtR happened to be one of them whose name we have yet to find. The odds favor this probability over JtR having been related to upper class society.

My personal theory is that JtR was caught near the end of 1888 for an unrelated crime and never confessed/was never connected to the killings, or somehow died—prolonged incarceration and death both explaining the end of the Ripper killings. One I place less stock in but still think is pretty entertaining is that JtR was a sailor who would’ve left Whitechapel shortly after the killings ended; there’s a train of thought that tries to connect the Whitechapel murders to the Atlanta Ripper killings in the early 20th century, using JtR as a sailor as a key part of the theory. I suppose anything is possible!

But it can be possible tho since the case is unsolved

Anything is possible but someone of nobility would be out in the streets of White Chapel. I think it was a local that had a reason to be out at night. I favorite suspect is Charles Cross/Lechmere.

Street wise women let Jack the Ripper close to them even when there was fear about a killer on the streets. I don’t know if that means he blended in or was someone known to them that seemed harmless or part of the city around them or if he was someone that could lure them away from safety or groups because he offered them money. Mary Kelly’s killing was in her lodging room it was more brutal but no one noticed a strange man in the area. That doesn’t mean someone slumming it wouldn’t learn to fit in or that people at the time would discount someone of wealth being capable of such crimes.

Sex workers are often targets of killers because they aren’t necessarily missed immediately. Also if you live and work in an area and are considered high risk - people unfortunately don’t care as much about the victims. If people in general think they can avoid being killed by not being a prostitute then it might not concern you.

Jack wanted attention. That might make him one of those guys that thinks they deserve women, wealth, or more than they have because they think they are intelligent but can’t succeed because others thwart them. The kind of guys that swear they are “nice” and get angry when rejected. They usually show their true face then and it’s not nice.

Jack could be any number of men that were pathetic and violent. He left crime scenes so people knew he was there. Maybe he wasn’t seen in his normal life. That could be a rich asshole or someone who lived in white chapel. Idk.

The ability to separate women when a killer is about makes me think they didn’t notice him or see him as a threat. Could he have been a person that worked in the area and not a customer?

Real life isn't anime. Jack The Ripper was just another serial killer like Ted Bundy or Peter Sutcliffe. There is no conspiracy or personal motivation beyond the typical sexually motivated homicide and mutilation.

Why do people think this is any different from the thousands of other serial murder cases?

There can be a motive for different murders and different reason

There "can be", yes but not in this case. The motive for Jack The Ripper was sexual satisfaction. We can come to this conclusion based on how he killed his victims and what he did after.

Literally no different from the other Ripper Killers.

He was a serial killer and they are just usually out to murder.

There are only a handful of things we can say about "Jack" and none of those bring us any closer to finding him.

  1. He's dead.

  2. He knew the area.

  3. He was a very sadistic and cruel man.

  4. He most likely looked and acted normal.

  5. His motives were likely a mixture of anger and sexual frustration toward women in general rather than just sex workers.

The viscount theory makes so sense.  They could be absolutely as wealthy with large households and fame. Often they were the future Duke and Earls after their fathers died.  It’s glamorous to think that JtR was a suave gentleman in a top hat, but the thousands of men living in abject poverty are much more likely to be able to blend in and escape.  Jack probably had anatomical  knowledge through being a butcher as opposed to a doctor .

It's all just assumptions and guesswork.

I know that life is not anime but I'm using those anime as just for reference and there can be high chances that it can be true plus i thought this in middle of my math class bored so plus there were few suspects or rumours who can be jack the ripper soo my theory also might be true but also not
