Event halloween in shanghai
Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask what Halloween is like here in shanghai. I’ve noticed that there are barely any flyers for halloween events in any of the groups i’m in. Is that because of regulations or something? Because i have been hearing stuff like the police being a bit more tough and some venues refusing entry if you dress a certain way.Is any of that true?

You can find shops and places doing Halloween stuff during Halloween but I guess they are not allowed to put Halloween things into public places.

Color revolution, you know? Coka Cola, McDonald's, Victoria's Secret. What's next? Vote? Free media? Democracy?

Imagine a level of excitement and thrill that is literally unimaginable. Then raise it to the power of an ecstatic cattle prod of joy on the hairy cheeks. Finally, when you think you are all out of "nnnrrggghh" as your neurons are firing in a most pleasurable way, a guy made of chocolate who spunks money heads your way, parts cheek like a moses of the anys, and pummels with all the rhythmic power of a steam engine piston that would have isambard kingdom Brunel himself in awe of the forces of cosmic engappening

Post Covid Lockdowns, Halloween was used by the young population to protest, make fun of, mock, or seriously protest both the lockdown and then other subsequent Chinese social issues - so with that and some local anti-Western movements, large scale Halloween activities are at risk from authorities shutting them down.
