Arts & Crafts The beach is closed for Halloween.
My wife is a Jaws super fan and a lover of all things shark, so we built a thing for Halloween. My design, my wife’s paint job, and about 20 hours of work. We wanted to do more, but this is what we got.
Will it survive? Maybe.
Where will I store it? 🤷♂️
But we had fun making it together.

I love this!
I have been a shark fan since I was a kid and have seen Jaws an embarrassing amount of times in my life. Very cool project and Halloween decoration.

Thanks for the love everyone. My goal with this project was simply to impress my wife. Multiple times I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew. Pun intended. Thankfully, it came together and she is amazed at how good it turned out. I’ll see her go outside and stare at it with a smile on her face and I know I did good. It’s awesome knowing that others appreciate it as well. I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween.

Fantastic work! In my humble opinion, you should keep the blue tarp under the shark and barrels. I think it help ties in the ‘ocean’ feel.

This is amazing!
I say keep Jaws and maybe collect scrap wood (unless the chicken wire and newspaper is easier and cheaper) and build the boat on a bit of a platform sinking into Jaws next year?
Really, any idea you come up with will be great because you did such a fantastic job with Jaws!

I love sharks and Jaws! My bridal shower was shark themed.
When I was my best friend’s (Wo)Man of Honor, I ended my toast with “Here’s to swimming with bow-legged women!” When he was my officiant, he added Jaws quotes in his toast.
I’m now wondering if I could talk my husband into making this. LOL
