You sure? Cuz if American cops do what they do to the french rioters, more probably they will arm themselves, which would put the American cops in the uncomfortable position to actually having to fight instead of brutalizing unarmed civilians

Doubt it, most riot cops here are typically armed with less-lethal’s, lethal (gun) is used as a last resort depending on what situation they’re in.
But then again, beanbags, 40mm LL, teargas, flashbangs, “Hornets Nest”, and pepper spray ain’t something to fuck with.
Also, experienced riot cops are typically used to the bullshit “protestors” pull, so nah, they won’t be brutalizing anyone.
