Is space quite literally a body of water above the earth?

Ive taken a flight today and had the thought of the earth being a submerged globe of sorts underneath a bigger body of water. I also wanted to quote the beginning of the Bible stating the waters above vs the waters below. Random Monday thought

It's true

The cartoon spongebob squarepants depicts it with Sandy Cheeks' terrarium home

Yes pastor says the fishes are to us as we are to the LORD (who lives in the heavens).

Yeah well look at rain. That's when the heavens leak.

They're getting old.

Normal scientists would tell you the Bible isnt worth shit as a scientific source, but thsts why we started the shitty science community! Never let the complete lack of evidence get in the way of your faith

Don’t forget it’s flat. Underneath the surface of the Earth, there’s nothing but tree roots, and water pipes.
