Why did Germans have to develop autism to adapt to survive in their native ecology?

As you all know, 100% of Germans have autism. Is there an evolutionary reason why this adaptation was key to survival in their native ecology?

Hell if I know; the bureaucracy here somehow manages to be obviously designed by autistics, but not for autistics. How we didn't extinct ourselves via sheer inefficient efficiency is a mystery to me. We still use fax machines here. It's like those silly paradise birds in the rainforest that, thanks to a lack of predators, have developed absurd and impractical plumage that would get them served for breakfast lunch and dinner anywhere else, but with paperwork.

I'd peg it as an evolutionary trait that just wasn't detrimental enough to be selected out, so it's stayed despite its glaring flaws

What if fax machines are the collective special interest of German office managers

Edit: (this is the funniest top level response by far)

Through sheer efficient inefficiency. That way you can acknowledge extreme excellence in the achivement of stagnation.

It’s the one sure (legal) form of communication that can’t be intercept and tampered with, is world wide and is robust. At least 15 years ago it was.

Its natural Selection, in early Agriculture only the ones with the correctly counted number of grains didt get executed on the Market because of fraud, as numbers of grains rose so did the need for Autistic traits to count them. In Germany there was exceptional fertile grounds so the number exploded until only Autists where left in that region.

according to some predator movie it's the next step in the evolution. and since that's based on totally real science, there's no need to question it.

What kind of Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunternehmenbeamtengesellschaft is that?

Anyway, German still wins, even though Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz has been repealed.

I don't think you understand. Others are autistic, we are just German.

High number of lethifolds. Extreme material sensitivity allows you to recognize your real blankets. Those without it get eaten.

Trains, planes and automobility. Everything zooms in Germany and a 3 minute delay is an embarrassment.

For trains? A three minute delay is a miracle
