Kitchens of Distinction

Post image

A recent post reminded me just how great this Band was, so giving this classic a spin. This and Strange free World were outstanding, and the last album, though less “shoegazy” was very good as well. A Band that deserved much more commercial success

Criminally underrated band and album.

The Death of Cool is one of my favorite shoegaze albums. I realize not every song fits but the 1st track "What Happens Now" is a masterpiece and maybe one of the best lead off songs of the genre.

When In Heaven is one of the best shoegaze songs ever made.

Sensational album. Probably the album that has had the biggest influence on me. Blue pedal, gone world gone and mad as snow are personal favourites
