Not sure it's been officially announced yet but some dates are starting to show up for a UK tour in May/June 2027.

Full list of dates are here.

I thrifted a Happy Hour CD and opened it to find it signed? Is this rare??? :0 is it legit? I haven’t seen any other albums with their signatures inside! Is this legit?

Oh, that sound!
That melody from the opening of "Top of the World"—it’s the same tune that has been playing here at subway stations in Osaka just before a train arrives at the platform for the past 37 years.

Shonen Knife covers Top of the World by The Carpenters. Good ?
I like it.

Would Shonen Knife be ok with a cover band?? Are there any that already exist? I've been thinking of starting one with some friends.

By any chance, can one provide an English translation or know where the lyrics are to this song? I've tried using translation apps and nada.

Thank you!

Hiya. I'm a big fan! I was just wondering if anyone from the UK would know anywhere where I could get the Let's Knife reissue on vinyl? Thanks guys x

I sincerely hope for the success of their North American tour. This is a moment from the encore of the Japan tour they held just before heading to North America.

712 Day Party 2026 at Club Upset, in Nagoya.

It was a live show just as wonderful as always. Actually, it was twice as amazing as last year's show.

Here's a little excerpt from 'Cycling Is Fun' to brighten up the start of your week. 🙂

That’s it, thanks!

I’d kill for merch similar to this that isn’t just the music or t shirts or posters, but I haven’t been able to find anything besides the vinyl killer. Is there any other I guess merch/special stuff the band released?

So yesterday Shonen Knife anounced they're releasing 'Let's Knife Re-Cut' album! According to their official posts on social media (Fb and Ig):
