Recently emigrated to Scotland. Visited Saltcoats today. Dialled 100 just to be safe. Looks like these are about to be decommissioned. Quite surreal seeing these IRL. It was so cool to just walk around and suddenly come across this.

been playing alot more Silent Hill 3 recently and man, its so good. and i will say, i think its better then SH2. now i will say this, i havent completed 2 or 3. but i think of them, 3 is my favorite. im currently in brookhaven as of me writing this. what do you think of Silent Hill 3? do you think its good or a waste? have a nice day, bye!

Won't spoil the plot just a scene like this doesn't explicitly occur in the game. Rather the nurses are human, monster, or manifestation of nightmares is never confirmed so it makes me curious what promotional material like this mean? If Heather was incapacitated in the asylum would the other world nurses oddly nurse her back to health? Are they preparing her for valtiel or what's going on? Either way it's very interesting and I love stuff like this in games.

I’ve never actually sat and played any of these games start to finish in one sitting before. Normally I’d play over multiple days. I think it’s been really enjoyable. I’ll be finishing with Downpour tomorrow which is actually my favourite game to come after the originals.

Finally got the plat on this great game. Was aiming for the Justice ending but got the Forever one on my previous run, so I just reloaded an old save file in The Patient level and got the Justice one by collecting every collectible from that point on.

Not like some bum ass dog is trying to eat my ass alive or something 😊😊😊 But seriously, I Played SH 2, 3 and 4 and it was great (sh4 was a little bit stressful) BUT HARRY IS SHOOTING WITH BLINDFOLD ON I SWEAR.

I was cleanin' my hdd & found the 3D models & textures from the Silent Hill Origins prototype. I've also got the title music, battle tracks, and unrevealed characters as Ghost Raider Skin.

I seem to have gotten the bad ending and want to replay it to see the other endings. Question is, is replaying the game worth it? Does it have more stuff to discover on ng+? SHf did it pretty well with plenty pf new documents and cutscenes. Or is it just the same playthrough with just different endings?

When I finish the setup tool and try to launch the game I get an error saying:

C:\Games\Silent Hill 2\DINPUT8.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or contains an error.

Try reinstalling the program using the original installation media, or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

So, I noticed something that could be a plot hole or inconsistency but it's also very possible I missed something.

In regards to Richard and his side of the story: The plot spells out that Richard Show wanted to let Joe McKenzie, an engineer who had actually pointed out the flaw with the RCU, take the fall for the entire disaster. This in and of itself isn't a plot hole, but the way some documents you find talk about it do read off that way. Joe McKenzie is basically confirmed to have not only tried to point out that the part was failing, but also to have been the first to die in the SWDP disaster. He was literally crushed by falling debris in the bowels of the oil rig. But, in documents you find during Shaw's chapter in the CEG office building, there are emails that state that Shaw blamed an engineer who 'is out for blood' and doesn't want to take the fall. Now, it could be that he basically tried to blame an engineer and that backfired as the guy was still alive, and then shifted the blame to Joe McKenzie, but it doesn't seem there are notes to hint at that. Is this a bit of a plothole, or just a few documents with slightly confusing writing? To me it does seem like the implication is he tried to blame the engineering team broadly, and then eventually shifted blame to someone who couldn't defend themselves, but again, hard to tell through notes.

Someone should make a mod that allows the player to explore more rooms in Brookhaven Hospital that are originally inaccessible like the Pharmacy on the 1'st floor lobby, the Bathrooms on the 1'st floor lobby, the day room on the 1'st floor etc. I recently heard there was some form of a builder that is capable of building custom SH2 areas "at least", is this true? If so I implore someone to build these rooms for the Hospital and release the mod somewhere like Mod DB and Nexus Mods! :D

P.S - doing more research and there is in fact a level viewer/editor called "SH2 Level editor" (ph2.)
