What is up with that Quick Access bar? You don’t need two different medkits and water. Energy and antirad for the second and third.

that slot also uses energy not just water, why would you ever need to quickly use rad? i have stronger meds to default to that one for hectic situations cause those kind are scarce to find

Sometimes you walk into highly radiated areas without even knowing it, where just a few steps in it could lose you to the zone. The bar can creep up quick, having the anti-rad in the QA bar saved my life many times.

Yeah I've had that happen but by the time I scurry out of there itd be no different than going into my inventory. Its not like you're having a gun fight with rad, you just run away and.. stand there..

I tend to try and see where I can get into that the developers forgot to close off. That leads me into many radiation walls, so The difference between immediately applying an anti-rad and backing up, and waiting to apply it until after you exit the strong radiation can mean death.

looks solid overall, i like to carry a hilka in addition to a bear, if im travelling in an area where i dont know the artifact spots i usually have the hilka in my hand. if i get a signal i swap to the bear for accuracy. also i recommend always having ample amounts of drugs, hercules, vinca, and psi-block weigh almost nothing and theres no real harm in keeping 5-10 on you, 1.2kg total i think if you have 10 each, meds arent the place to save weight. if you need to shed a kilo or a half, id leave some of the sidearm ammo, sidearms are great but you got the bolt action that takes the same role of the rhino, having like 50~ rounds of 9x39 would be best imo. a bit confused on the 230 rounds of 762r ball, also one thing for weight conservation i do is leave the sausage, take the cans, iirc sausages weigh more and cans restore more hunger. other than that looks good, keep in mind all my stuff is just nitpicks and what i would do personally, you do what you wanna do!

better artifacts for sure. Hypercube, Liquid rock, compass. Also lead container. And personally i am not a fan of snipers for exploration setups. shotgun like saiga, sledgehammer or ram would be better for me. Because you can put acog on the kharod and use it for long range and mid range, Also not a fan of revolver. Night stalker is just better in rate of fire and dps. Also suits for stealth. And maybe a sniper in the stash for certain mission and content after SIRCAA and for Pripyat

Guardian or Margach missing. I wouldn't go into the zone without a good shotgun, and no Rhino doesn't count.

The unique Saigas are genuinely life-changing, they're so good

15 rounds natural on Guardian, and the bundled mag (quick reload) attachment on the Margach - even the Gauss Gun would struggle with such anti-mutant efficiency.

Rhino kinda fills that role, I guess nothing has that rate of fire though, could underbarrel the super

I'd slap an acog on the Kahrod and just take a shotgun. Sadly the spawn buble is only 100m and with an ACOG you can dome them pretty decently and then you got a shotty to deal with mutants.

Got tired of shottys wanted to switch it up

Apsb with scope, silencer and extended mag is fun for rats. Arev or kharod are nice, I go for Jagerblick. Also, you will eventually stumble across better armour, and better artifacts will happen with time.

Everything is pretty good if u are going to shoot people, but take some grenades (i prefer rgo)

Maybe get the under-barrel shotgun for either the M107 or Kharod. You don’t need a shotgun, but it’s a huge convenience.

Modify Rhino for the Shotgun ammo. Imo Kharod on single-shot mode can fill the role of a sniper, so I'd take an SMG instead of it. Zubr or Fora-230.

It doesn’t feel like stalker only using western style weapons…
Get an SVU3 or Justice, done up right it would replace both of your current rifles.

No need for both rifles. Leave the assault rifle and switch the revolver out for a 45.

u/NevenS2000 1d ago
why swap out a secondary for a worse secondary?
1
u/TheRealBobakaax 15h ago
Reload speed. Having a rat gun for a large number of opponents like dogs or zombies

believe me when I say the 1911 isnt worse its honestly made me debate if carrying around a rifle for mutants is worth it

In my opinion what you lack the most here is a shotgun. The best choice will be Saiga.
