Gamma: npcs react hostile when pulling out pda

New to the stalker franchise as a whole got gamma last night, every time I pull out my pda everyone nearby freaks out like I just stuck a rpg in their faces. Is this a common bug I’m assuming they genuinely believe I am pulling out a weapon (I rebounded pda to M if that causes a conflict of sorts) is there a way to fix this or this just normal with gamma?

EDIT: so I answered my own question, they don’t care much if you walk around with a gun pointed down with the B key however having your gun equipped even when pressing B then pulling out your pda for a split second makes them think your pointing your gun at them before the pda animation is complete not sure if this is common knowledge but I’ll keep this up for equally silly indivuals such as my self)

They should react hostile but i dont think they’re coded to actually shoot you. However, its good to just press b to avoid that entirely or just unequip your gun when inside a friendly/neutral base.

Yeah I’ve learned through a lot of aiming at people’s faces that they won’t start any combat unless you do so first, it was really funny to be sitting at a fire with 7 dudes, pull out my pda and they all just start screaming and pointing guns at me😂 having no weapons equipped then pulling your pda however doesn’t trigger this, more of a cosmetic funny situation than a game breaking issue
