Anomaly Please Help Me

Guys... im so freakin scared... I dont want the Galil ACE but I also dont want the Galil AR to only be able to shoot 7.62x51 and 7.62x39.. help me make it shoot 5.56 by default..

Start game in debug mode. Press F7, then 1, look for galil you want. Note the name something like "wpn_galil"(also note the ammo name).

Anomaly has folder tools, there is dbunpacker bat file. Don't use the "all".

Then you search through the configs for the galil name. After that you can edit in the ltx from 7.62x51 to 5.56x45. also edit weapon damage/recoil stats - maybe copy from other 5.56 gun.

Then it just comes down to checking what crashes on load/weapon spawn/equip.

Afaik it's recommended to use a mod manager like Mod Organizer 2 where you can load the newly made mod.

This applies to vanilla anomaly.

Worst comes to worst you can probably throw it into LLM - it's simple enough config change.
