Bug Honta quest bug

In Hontas mission to kill burer, I go there, kill it, go back to honta and he just sits there without quest turn in option. Anyone had this?

you need to pick up his rifle. it's a named bullpup. May have to reload a save since the mutant can throw it places

Normally, he radios you on the way back from killing the burer to ask if you know where the other guy went. Then you'll get a quest marker to go find the other guy. Did you get that radio message?
