S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Controller in the swamps refuses to die

Title. Doing the mission where you have to disable the psi-beacons in the swamps. There's a controller guarding one of them and he won't fucking die. I've shot him with and entire mag of an svd and an entire 130 rounds from an as lavina on my latest attempt, an good portion of those being headshots and he still won't die

You can snipe the beacon and come back later.

you can also just run past him if you're fast enough and have a clear path to the beacon

oh damn. Would of been nice to know before I powered through, but I handled it eventually

I did this but with an arev loaded with armor piercing ammo. Took him down in less than a mag.
