Ehhh shouldn't it just be director credits?
The question is whether Four Rooms counts

Wait. I’m not at a haunted house. I’m at a suburban party! Get me out of here! But no the next room is just Family Holiday Party. Oh shit here comes my grandma asking me when I’m going to conceive..

I think this is pretty good. I would cut the Jackie Brown and just say: Top five Tarantino films? Go!

Appreciate the feedback. I thought maybe there was some discourse lately on Jackie Brown so I through it in there to make it a bit more obnoxious but maybe I will take it out.

The last line hits for me, but I guess you can try both and see what works.
(I don't have strong opinions on Jackie Brown, saw it once, but it was a funny reference for me)

If you can make someone laugh by just posting a picture with your joke and punchline, that's a good damn joke (it worked for me).
We shouldn't sit here and dissect your joke, but keeping Jackie Brown in it works for me on a couple different levels. Definitely keep the Jackie Brown part in.

I think it's something that works verbally, but not written. Was confused why this character wouldn't be shitting on Jackie brown, which is the more insufferable take; I can see (or hear, rather) it working in a room though

ngl my stoned ass actually thought about it and Jackie brown would be in my top five though so it made me laugh harder

I would keep the Jackie brown bit in. He’s got enough bangers and people have slept on that one.

Naw, the Jackie Brown part makes it sound like a real film snob trying to be different. Keep it!

I like it, and you can even swap out the Jackie Brown bit for something godawfully film bro-ish should rhe right audience be in attendance.

What’s about norms bit regarding jokes like these? Make a funny socially conscious joke and he will give you a million dollars

I've had a few drinks and I can't understand the joke. Can someone explain it to me?

I don’t think anybody has Jackie Brown in their top 5

I dogpile-downvoted you at first, but I reversed it. Let's talk, where do you stick Jackie Brown in his filmography

Obviously Jackie Brown makes top five. The hard question is does Death Proof count on its own or as part of Grindhouse?
