(To be tagged...) Basilisk Big Brain Bouts - Serral vs Percival

Anyone watch it?

I've never seen such a crazy late game transition before - If you are subscribed to Rotti you can watch it:

But yeah, Swarm host late game transition when you're 20k resources in trading down in TVZ - to win the game. I've never seen this transition before in my years of watching pro starcraft. When 16 Swarm hosts got queued I thought it was a misclick!

Serral took the "Big Brain" in Big Brain Bouts very seriously. He could've saved that strategy for a more impactful event, but I'm happy to witness it live. I'd always felt that SHs could come in useful in late-lategame ZvT when drones need to be culled to free up supply, but I never thought Serral also had the same idea. It was beautiful watching live my own idea get executed brilliantly by the GOAT. I thought Percival was winning at a couple points, when the resources lost stats were enormously in his favor.

Ah, finally the game is balanced when the GOAT can play for 45minutes against the #12 in the world after mining one of the enemy bases and dominating the early game against a passive opponent doing nothing behind his sim city getting almost out-traded still. Is it finally time to make locusts cost minerals each wave?
