No way does Worf put in any effort to feed Alexander. If it weren't for the ships replicators Alexander would have wasted away long ago

I mean that would kind of line up with Worf's approach to rearing children, to him Alexander is already of an age where he can and should be finding his own food

In beta canon, after the events of First Contact and Data’s death, Worf got the XO position on the Enterprise and took looking after Spot on. He came to respect Spot as a hunter and ended up quite liking him.

I wish they would have had Alexander be a kick ass Klingon instead of a "good luck charm." I found that episode very sad.

My old cat would yell at you to get attention, and would bite you if that didn't work. This included if he was hungry and you were sleeping in. I miss that adorable guy.

My current cat doesn't meow or bite at all, but he will steal food out of your hand if you don't keep your guard up.

The second Spot gives a mouse present to Worf, they become soulmates. 

Do not think too hard about where Spot found a mouse.
