AI that analyses developer code to produce an easy-to-read report assessing skill level for use by developers, hiring teams, and educators. Uses Github or existing code so ditch the coding tests!
Developer code is evaluated by our models across 6 categories:
> Sample volume - Quantity of code submitted (we require 500 lines for accuracy)
> Original code vs. boilerplate - How much of the submitted code is originally written by the developer?
> Syntax use - Is the code fluid and understandable, or is it a mumbo-jumbo of sticky and twisty lines of code?
> Domain reflection - How much of the concepts and terminology specific to the application domain are reflected in the code?
> Solution clarity - To what extent the written code is understandable as a description of the idea of solving a problem?
> Modular structure - How well the code’s structure is thought out, designed, and organized on multiple levels.

Repro (https://repro.dev)
Based in London, UK
Repro is an open-source developer tool for replayable bug reports. In just a few clicks, record a user's session, console logs & errors, and any network requests.
I've worked as a software engineer for over 10 years and seen thousands of bug reports in that time. I know firsthand the frustration of trying to reproduce bugs, armed with nothing more than a vague description and - very occasionally - a screenshot.
Repro aims to give you everything you need to create the perfect bug report, every time. Cut out the back-and-forth and get back to what you do best: shipping great software.
Stage: Validation
Role: Founder
Goals this month:
- Onboard first users after a relaunch.
- Get a deeper understanding of user problems.
- Refine short-term roadmap.
I'd love your feedback. If you work as a developer or QA tester on a web app, please try out Repro for free (visit https://repro.dev) and let me know if you find it useful. Thanks!

Paragram creates interactive 3d product models that embed directly into ecommerce websites. Our platform allows customers to view products from any angle, update materials and options in real-time, and see exactly what they're getting before hitting the buy button. Brands no longer need physical prototypes, photography, or retouching to represent product variations online. Our visualization platform can handle thousands of configurations while increasing customer engagement, driving sales, and reducing returns.

Startup life cycle stage: Validation
My role: CEO / 3d Designer
- What goals are you trying to reach this month?
We want to get the word out to brands, marketers, and the studios that build their websites. Hoping to land a few beta clients over the next couple of months.
- Discount for r/startup subscribers?
For anyone designing, building, or selling a physical product that could use a 3d configurator, don't hesitate to reach out. We're offering a limited number of free trials in exchange for feedback and exposure.
•
u/Legitimate-Room-1905 Apr 15 '23
These real-time web product renders are some of the best I’ve seen. Do you have studies or data that show sales will increase if someone implements this?
•
u/mwbeene Apr 15 '23
Thank you! Since we're pretty new, we don't have enough data points to show the general impact on sales at this point. Other companies in this space do make these claims so we believe our product will have a similar (or hopefully more) positive impact.
•
u/currentlab_ Apr 01 '23
This looks really polished. What's the implementation like for the customer?
I know the owner of a company that builds custom RVs/camper van interiors (think beds, bathrooms, sinks, etc). I think the desired field of view would be quite different from the demos you've shown, and would be more akin to an architectural model. Is that a capability that is well-suited to your technology at this current stage?
•
u/mwbeene Apr 01 '23
Thanks! As a visualization platform we felt it was important for our early releases to show what we're capable of aesthetically.
Implementation is straightforward: we build and host the 3d configurator, then businesses can add it to their site with a single line of html (an iframe). We also support more advanced integrations - let's say a business already has buttons to select color or part options, they can make API calls to the viewer to have the 3d model update its appearance.
The interior perspectives you describe are possible with our viewer, but there might be a couple things we could improve to make the experience better (i.e. multiple points of view) These are already on our roadmap but we would fast-track them for right client.
Feel free to DM me if you'd like to chat more - we might be able to put together a free proof-of-concept if the company is interested.

Peanut - Send crypto with just a link!
Location: Europe
Pitch:
- Sending crypto STILL sucks.
- If you send someone something on the blockchain, they now know your address and your entire transaction history.
- There's a lot of risk in sending assets to the wrong address
- having allllll your funds be dependent on this weird seed phrase that you need to keep secure is crazy. Most people can't/won't do that.
What we do at Peanut: We make it possible to send crypto (and any other tokens or NFTS) with just a link. On the Roadmap is privacy (even on public blockchains), seemless swapping between tokens and even cross-chain, being able to make a crypto account not by knowing a weird seedphrase, but by logging in with your gmail and other social accounts.
Discount for Reddit: It's free for everyone! We also sponsor claiming transaction, making it gasless!
Looking for: feedback / partnerships / angels

There’s a lot of people actually working on mass-adoption and new implementations that are going this way such as ERC-4337 and others. If your solution is centralizing what a decade worth of work of web3 people spent decentralizing… bru 😅 Besides that, lot of web3 projects especially NFTs now onboard using Gmail and other social log-in linking them to the wallet 🤷🏼♂️ if you have a link i’d have a look though for a feedback @Hugo0o0 (where in Europe?)

Finally, no more cord sharing or having to disconnect from the bluetooth!
More details:
The host creates a real-time playlist by connecting his/hers Apple Music account, enters a playlist name and display nickname. Boom! You are set to share. Each playlist generates a random 4 alphanumeric passcode to then share with others. When joining a playlist, only a nickname and a valid passcode is required (no Apple Music needed). Currently each playlist only supports up to a maximum of 10 listeners. No account creation is needed for either creating or joining playlists, making onboarding a breeze! More details located on the App Store.

Hey Reddit!
I'm currently working on a tool to simplify slide deck creation and I'm really curious to hear about your experiences and challenges when building your decks. Your input would be incredibly valuable as I refine my product.
A bit about the tool: I found that I was always writing up the content of my decks in a document and then building them in Google Slides, which added several hours to the process. It didn't make sense to me that I couldn't build my decks directly through a document-style model. Over the last couple of months, I've been working on a solution to this problem.
I'd love to hear from you:
- What is your current process for building slide decks?
- What are your biggest pain points or frustrations with this process?
- Do you think a tool that streamlines content creation and slide building would be helpful for you?
Thank you so much for your time and insights!

How is it different from Calendly?
•
u/Bjorn_Zenith Apr 07 '23
Excellent question. Even though I do not want to compare Zenith to other products, I suggest looking at the advantages our product has compared to theirs, so what are our competitive advantages, and there are 2:
Zenith offers full branding and customization on both your calendar and your scheduling link, which makes your experience personalized and a lot more professional, especially for brands/companies and entities.
Secondly, Zenith helps you sync all your calendars in one place, our Zenith Calendar, so that you can track, manage and never overbook events. Additionally, with such a feature, you will not be able to miss events due to scheduling them on different calendars, an issue that a lot of distance working employees have experienced in the past 3 years.
Please feel free to ask any other questions you might be interested in understanding, and hopefully, if you find Zenith useful, we will have you onboard.

u/AutomataApp Apr 01 '23
Startup Name / URL: Automata | https://www.getautomata.app/
Elevator Pitch: Free iMessage/WhatsApp/Telegram marketing automation
More Details:
- Automata lets you automate and send unlimited messages using your personal messaging apps through integrating them with your CRM and automation tools
- It is primarily for anyone who wants to bulk message but can't afford something heavy and expensive like WhatsApp Business API
- It's a desktop app that connects to your iMessage app locally. For WhatsApp/Telegram, it runs a local instance of the client.
- The upside to our approach is it is cheap for us, and for you. Your private data does not leave your computer (compared to a cloud solution). The desktop app pulls queued outgoing messages from our server, which is simply a dashboard + API endpoint for connecting with CRMs/Zapier.
- The downside is messages do not get sent if your computer goes to sleep/offline.
My Role: Developer, Co-Founder
Life Cycle:
Launched for WhatsApp and iMessage. 3 current customers - 1 paid, 2 unpaid. 3 paying customers in the pipeline.
What goals are you trying to reach this month?
- Improve stability and support for larger customers
- Add CLI version
- Test a cloud-hosted option
- Allow self-onboarding and start running ads. Currently all customers are either through our cold outreach or word of mouth.
How could r/startups help? If you would like to send a iMessage/WhatsApp campaign to your customers, let me know. I'll set up a free blast for you.
Discount for r/startup subscribers? There's a generous free tier (free if <1k messages/mth and no integrations required). If you need the paid tier, I'll give you $5 off for 3 months = $14/mth for 3 months.

I feel like your business model isn't going to work. Maybe reach out to companies that want to keep track of their competitors' websites or some other entity with $ that wants to monitor something. Going to consumers is not the way to make big $ here. Interview people you think would be interested in your services and get feedback. You kinda built a tool for a problem that people weren't aware of.

Thanks for your input! I've built a tool to solve my own problem.
I did few interviews, they all went along the lines - yes, that's what I need, that's what solves my problem, but I can't pay you now because of this and that (i.e. I would use it if it was free). If you implemented that and that feature perhaps I would think about it again.
And the service is dead cheap. But, as you said, pulling each (inidividual) potential customer's sleeve won't work - think of time spent = customer acquisition cost.
Which companies would you reach if this was your project?

Consider compliance departments of large corporations that might want to keep track of their own or their competitors marketing claims, or perhaps pair this with a search for tracking evidence of trademark infringement.

I honestly don't know. Maybe small businesses that have competitors they want to keep track of but don't have software engineers to do the work of saving their websites? It's tough. You built a tool without validating that people would pay for it.
Also, cheap is not good. You want to offer a service that people are willing to pay handsomely for.
