Problem Achievement Problem

Recently I’ve been having in issue on Steam where every time I earn an achievement in a specific game, Elden Ring, they just disappear after about an hour or so. I’ve tried looking up guides and finding posts about similar issues but so far not a single one of them has helped me at all, and I feel like there aren’t many options left. I would very much appreciate if someone could help me out with this issue because it has gotten quite maddening.

never heard something like this ever. Once an achievement is bound to an account it stays there, the only way to remove it is through SAM or other similar sw. Do you have something like that on your pc, maybe you dont remember installing it? Do the achievement disappear from your activity feed as well?

They don’t disappear from my activity feed immediately, but they disappear from my profile as well as from the app and website. I downloaded SAM today actually to see if it would help fix the problem, and it did not. I can temporarily bring them back by logging into the game, but they’ll still disappear and the timestamp on the achievement will change to when I logged into the game for some reason.

This isn’t for certain, but I may have found the root of all evil. I recently got that Tarnished Pack DLC they released for Elden Ring, so I tried uninstalling it and seeing if I could earn an achievement without it disappearing. Low and behold, so far it hasn’t.
