Discussion desperately need them to do a headlining US tour!!

the first time i saw them they played purple in full. not likely but i need this to happen again lol. need them to be headlining and not opening.

They’re good, but not good enough for me to want to see them headline. Their new singer does great for about half of their songs. The other half it sounds too much like a cover band

They are headlining on November 21st near Palm Springs. I think this is just a warm up show for their Australia tour.

I saw them with Scott five times and once with Jeff a few years ago. Jeff does a fantastic job and does it well. That said, Scott was an enigma all his own, and that was part of the allure of STP. They are still a great live act. Rob, Dean, and Eric are excellent musicians. Until they release new music though, I see them as direct support or headlining a legacy tour. Rob finally released a solo album a few years back, and Dean is currently involved in another project. Very hard to say if and when they make new music together.

They've had a new singer named Jeff Gutt since 2017.
