Accommodations
Title is loosely related but I couldn't think of any better way to put it.
Some niceness for edge day! I'm going to be DJing an event my friend is putting on later this month and they were talking about the custom cocktails etc and I mentioned/reminded them about how it's kinda no use me knowing about them and their first response was "well I can always tell the bar staff to make alcohol free versions of them all" and it was a nice moment of realisation for someone like me who only recently claimed edge that I've surrounded myself with friends who might not share the same lifestyle as me, will always support mine without hesitation.
Sorry if it's a bit rambly for the sub but I just thought a nice anecdote goes a long way every now and then.

I enjoy to, kind of, mock popular "habits" in sXe way: I have cigarette case with Tibetan aroma sticks inside to "light up" throughout the day and liquor flask with unfiltered olive or hemp seed oil to "start" morning the straight way)).
I feel it is just follow-up from my already established vegan habit of seeking meat-free alternatives to common foods - like agave syrup for honey or seitan in vegan sandwich. I also drink alcohol-free beer, although good one is hard to find.
Point is - there are alternatives, or accommodation options as you mentioned, that are, on second thought, are not alternatives at all because you don't need "original" shit in the first place - like, you know, folks saying they only want to eat meat "that walked and breathed" when discussing lab-grown meat.
