I'm pretty sure that its because these people assume that Guns N Roses is MAGA because of the old song "One In A Million" that they made back in the 80s.
If I remember correctly, Axl Rose has actually apologized for that song.

u/Not_Allowed_to_Die 1d ago
Nah. MAGA just love the music, but hate the fact all of their heroes they love so much hate on them. You should see them meltdown on Marvel movies. Any time a hero in them does the right thing or saves a person, it's woke to MAGA now. They are just very confused people that don't get they are the villains in those movies.

u/Inevitable_Nail_2215 1d ago
Conversely, they would hate "Civil War" from back in 1990.
5
u/Saint_Victorious 1d ago
You mean they'd hate a song with the line "it feeds the rich while it buries the poor"? Preposterous.
1
u/ReturnoftheBulls2022 1d ago
Or Shackler's Revenge which is about the media hysteria of school shootings and their obsession over the Virginia Tech's shooters obsession with the song Mr. Brownstone.

"Substituted by a old..."
"I hate living in this times"
MAGA confirmed.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised Axl took this stance. A lot of aging rockstars are conservative as hell now.
Good for him.

Guns N Roses, for their many faults, are not a bunch of MAGA chuds.
Axl and Duff at least openly despise Trump.
6
u/Ok_Record_9908 20h ago
I knew I like Guns n Roses for a reason. Fuck Maga! Anyone still following this orange pedophile Trump hates America.

I’m not surprised the singer of “sweet child of mine” who can be quoted to have said “if people knew what we were doing we would’ve been canceled for sure” supports Palestine, no.
3
u/treskaz 1d ago
Whut ya getting at? Too cryptic. Spit it out.
-5
u/makeyousaywhut 23h ago
I am not surprised that a probable pedophile supports a society that encourages child marriage and sex slavery.
3
2
u/treskaz 23h ago
Well ofc child marriage and sex slavery are bad. But is genocide the proper way to deal with that? I think not.
-4
u/makeyousaywhut 23h ago
Neither do I. It’s a good thing Gaza’s population is still growing, and not experiencing genocide.
Once Hamas is taken care of, maybe Gazans can begin to heal from the 20 year pedophilic reign.
4
u/treskaz 23h ago
Over 2 million Palestinians have been displaced since Oct 7, and at least 75k civilians have been killed (almost 30% were children). Something like 3% of the population has died.
That's a genocide
1
u/makeyousaywhut 23h ago
Displaced from where to where? Gaza to Gaza?
50% of Gaza is children, do you suggest that by the numbers Israel avoids child deaths?
75,000 have died, and an average of 180 children have been reported to have been born daily in 2024. Things have further calmed down since then, but if you work out the available data points, including the 150 born daily number available for 2023, we can assume year over year there’s an increase of 30 children born daily.
That would be 150 daily in 23, 180 daily in 24, 210 daily in 25, and 240 daily in 26.
That’s an average of 195 children born daily since October 7th 2023. That’s 215,475 new births.
When you include the 100,000 Gazans that emigrated, and the 75,000 fatalities, in which children are under represented, you get a population growth of 40,000+ people in Gaza.
It’s fairly simple math.
4
u/treskaz 22h ago
So babies born offset the people killed? And the square mileage of totally destroyed, uninhabitable buildings?
They're squeezing the people into a smaller and smaller area. Then the settlers come, rebuild, expanding the area of Israeli control, apartheid continues, shit goes off again, rinse and repeat.
Look at the maps of Palestinian/Israeli land from '48 until now. That's displacement.

u/sandshoemcgee 15h ago
I really didn’t get I’m a pedo out of his statement they were pretty crazy with partying back then but I never heard rumours about that

u/Keith_Courage 1d ago
Why is it a conservative stance to not support terrorists who call for genocide?
4
u/treskaz 1d ago
Specifically the way you worded, it's not. But from what I've seen, despite varying levels of being "sick of Israel" as far as American politics/funding go (from full on Zionists to other conservatives who don't want anything to do with Israel anymore), it seems many American conservatives are specifically not agreeing it's a genocide at all.
Calling it a genocide or not has become politicized.
Axl could very well be conservative in other ways, and I'll admit I'm pigeonholing a bit here, but I'm mostly surprised to see him taking any stance at all. Metallica and Ed Sheeran both have recently noped out of the discourse entirely.
I don't really give a shit what any celebrity thinks about fucking anything, but just from being online I've seen quite a few (specifically musicians) dodge questions or presenting their opinions on things.
Ed Sheeran doesn't surprise me. But Metallica, before the black album they were pretty fucking political in a lot of their music. To act like that never happened is comical to me.
But now I'm bringing up a ton of other shit from off the top of my head.

u/ShredGuru 21h ago
Why is a conservative stance to support a religious ethnostate doing a genocide??
0
u/CharlemagneTheDeer 19h ago
its not really, but on reddit, if you dont agree with (trend) you are labeled as a maga traitor

I always wonder the same thing about members of the LGBTQ+ in western countries supporting Palestine. It never makes sense on either side.

I do not give a flying fuck if they think I shouldn't get my dick sucked by other men. I do give a fuck about innocents being murdered.
I would also voice this opinion for every other nation of innocents being slaughtered. I absolutely loathe the whole MAGA movement, but if someone would call for genocide against them? You bet your ass I'd stand against that too.
Why is it so hard to understand?

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago
MAGA are such snowflakes. Triggered by every little thing. Lol
-14
u/XeonDev 1d ago
As someone who's not American, both you and MAGA are delusional for this take. Both of your idiotic sides go around online claiming the other side is full of snowflakes.
Your lack of self awareness is baffling lol

MAGA are just upset because most of their heroes all hate them and stand against what they do. You should see them meltdown at the casts of Marvel movies. Those are literally the heroes MAGA look up to, but the same characters that would just hate and be against everything MAGA stands for. MAGA are melting down more and more as they realize they are the bad guys in all of those movies.

u/Sufficient-Mix4418 1d ago
Fun fact, Axl Rose. Yes, that Axl Rose, the same redneck from Indiana who was a shit-jerk to Lane Staley of the grunge band, Alice In Chains and to Kurt Cobain of the grunge band, Nirvana has done a complete 180 over the years.
Personally, I'm a Slash fan myself, but I'm cool with Axl's stance.

I’m friends with his cousin, and have had some run ins with Axl. He’s a smarmy fuckwit. A douchecanoe, if you will. But not everyone is 100% one thing. Good on him. (My views on Israel and Palestine are that they’re both petty, vindictive states that have a disagreement about existing. They both have the right to exist, but they both need to be referred to The Hague for war crimes. Both are at fault and both have done jack shit to resolve their issues. Also of note: the Jewish people are separate from the government of Israel, and the same goes for the Palestinian people and its governmental body. I know, I’m splitting hairs here, but this issue isn’t black and white, but shades of gray, and that dictates a thoughtful, measured, view based on quite a bit of research, reflection, and empathy.)

MAGA is so damn dumb they think songs by Rage are preaching what they think. They probably think Civil War and a bunch of songs by Bob Dylan are saying Maga positive things. What a group of dumbasses.

I'd like to ask everyone to observe a minute of silence in memory of Jerry Thomas’s last remaining brain cells, which tragically perished in a comment where he wonders why anyone would think it’s okay for Palestine to acquire nuclear weapons. Even Bibi hasn’t dared to go that far. The worst part? He actually uses the term “brain-dead” himself...
