It was funny watching interviews with the federal conservative party's leader before his parachute riding snap election so he could keep his job.

I've seen republicans make this claim about a candidate in my state but it's not actually what the candidate said & it has 0 to do with violent criminals. I swear these people hear a slogan & refuse to look into it any further, it's the same with "defund the police"- some people assume that means "take money away from cops & let us rot" when in reality it means "spend that huge budget on preventing the conditions that lead to crime in the first place" but of course prisons are a profit generating industry & there's no money to be made crime & trauma prevention.

Florida made it so any pedophiles that rape a 13 year old or older get a slap on the wrist. It used to be 14 and younger was life in prison, but Trump was caught with 13 and 14 year old girls, so they changed it. All Republicans.
