One made billions off abusing his position corruptly, the other one didn’t.

There’s no solid evidence that Trump donated his salary and it came out that he lied about doing so in his first term anyway.

553

u/Conscious-Deer7019 1d ago

Exactly, his tax returns were leaked in 2022 not one donation made, guess he lied again

149

u/shibiwan 1d ago

I don't think he has ever given up any of the annual $400k paychecks. He just pays lip service for his followers to eat up and when it comes time, he'll take that check anyways.

Heck, in the 90s, Spy magazine sent him checks as a prank to see what he'd do, and discovered he would deposit every single check, even if it's for 13¢.

Didn’t he sue the IRS to not release his tax returns?

118

u/Solid_Fox1718 1d ago

I believe he sued them for leaking his 2022 returns and as part of the settlement guaranteed that he and his family cannot be audited

103

u/Due_a_Kick_5329 1d ago

Not a legal settlement. Just one more thing to impeach his obese pedophile ass over.

20

u/OneForAllOfHumanity 1d ago

At this point, it's almost like comparing Trump to PDFiles is insulting to the latter. I can even see some of them defending themselves by saying, "I'm only a PDFile, it's not like I'm Trump"

He promised on the 2016 campaign trail to release his returns just like in 2024 promising to release the Epstein files, in both cases "right after the election."

17

u/Exciting-Guess-9823 1d ago

And people believe the same about the incoming checks too. . . . After the election.

Never but he tried to sue IRS for leaking his returns from his 1st term. Not one penny was donated to any organization. Image that DJT lied .

I am quite sure he "donates" to orgs that kick it back to him

SPY Magazine did an experiment where they sent $1 to all the millionaires in NYC. They steadily decreased the amounts. Once the checks fell below 10 cents all but one "millionaire" opted out. That one remaining "millionaire" cashed a 1 cent check. I am sure you can all guess who that person was

26

u/mancityfooty 1d ago

They also called him a short fingered vulgarian

29

u/mishma2005 1d ago

LOL the editor said he STILL gets letters from Trump with pics of his hands that he wrote over it in his block sharpie "Not so short fingered!". The guy said he couldn't believe someone could hold a grudge for so long

13

u/Round-Friendship9318 21h ago

He is still mad about Obama roasting him too

19

u/adecius 1d ago

Short fingered in this case referring to being cheap, I.e. short fingers not reaching far into his pockets.

13

u/SunshotDestiny 21h ago

Also keep in mind he just had a senator's home invaded because of an alleged $30 million made over 7 years... Compared to what he has made in two since coming into office. What is it, three billion by now?

10

u/JudyFFarmer 1d ago

And how much money has he and his family made off of the presidency????

10

u/SAHDSeattle 1d ago

That’s a very good question. The whole Nestor saga was really super weird. PizzaGaetz has so many creepy layers when you look at his entire political life.

9

u/mishma2005 1d ago

9

u/ForgottenMasterBalls 1d ago

8

u/SAHDSeattle 1d ago

Gaetz won’t need a pardon. When he was nominated for AG he left his congressional seat and the GOP hid away the congressional investigation on him. They said since he wasn’t a Congressman anymore there’d be no point in punishing him for being a sex trafficker. Just regular GOP covering for rapists.

u/ForgottenMasterBalls 1d ago

Doesn't mean he won't want a blanket pardon for the crap we don't know about.

It's funny how Obama, who hasn't been president for over 10 years, lives in the MAGA head, rent free. They keep bringing him up out of nowhere, to make idiotic comparisons with OrangeBoy.

Here, we get this idiotic Matt Gaetz post.

And a couple days ago, Sarah Palin posted that idiotic "Name one thing that Obama did better than Trump" post, again, bringing Obama up out of nowhere.

The fact is that when it comes to Obama, MAGA is extremely insecure, for they know, deep down, that OrangeBoy will never measure up to Obama. (Hell, OrangeBoy doesn't even measure up to the likes of John Tyler, for that matter.). And the idea of the head of MAGA not even coming close to measuring up to a black man, is something that they just can't stand. So they keep bringing Obama up, in lame attempts to say, "See, trump really IS better than that black guy!!! He's better, he's better he's better!!!"

It's so pathetic. lol

65

u/Best_Cobbler_3719 20h ago

It's racist baiting.

Gotta keep thr base riled up: "Why did a black family get to live in the White House but my white family can't find work?!"

And the MAGA base is a racist base. Jingoist is a better term, but folks don't get the specificity of that one and how when applied to a racist nation it's WAY worse than just being racist.

(And the GOP is jingoist AND traitorous for riding the coat tails of violent, racist traitors, but that's a whole different comment thread......)

18

u/EpilepticDawg241 17h ago

Watched Fox News and they always start there mornings with a cherry picked story about a minority being arrested.

They need to feed the MAGA animals

Racism has always been the basis for Trump’s popularity.

10

u/dc_based_traveler 16h ago

Calling it racist baiting gives them too much credit. It’s racist alright, but it’s racist cope. They know the MAGA “best of the best” (did I just type that? lol) can’t stand up to a black man.

10

u/Best_Cobbler_3719 16h ago

No, it's literally baiting to keep people who don't have opinions on say, fiduciary duty or social safety nets or public heath engaged politically, just like the abortion issue or vaccines.

It is very deliberate, just like ALL administrative actions that have followed the Heritage Fiundation playbook (Project 2025).

Wedge issues like these are designed to create single-issue voters who are willing to shoot themselves in the foot AND the nuts to get a win over the other team.

26

u/surferfbst 15h ago

15

u/DispleasedBeaver 15h ago

The exact thing the post is falsely claiming trump does. All one has to do is look at the number of crimes and the amount of grifting between the two. And they have no idea how much Obama donates, that's not publicly known. You can donate completely anonymously. Also, the primary source of income for Obama was the salary.

What they are talking about here is who claims to donate more, and even if it's taken at face value that trump donates the whole $400k that is a drop in the bucket compared to what he has directly taken or stolen, using his position. Obama had investments and two books. Trump pulled multiple crypto scams, forces the secret service to use his airline and hotels when traveling, takes bribes at least as high as $400m (which cost about the same to retrofit to turn it into turd force one), and nonstop shills his garbage merchandise, and that of his family, friends, and donors. Not to mention market manipulation, which accounts for 90% of his faux waffling on issues publicly.

The entire claim by the (other) child trafficker is just laughable, but people are dumb.

His kids literally sell access to cabinet members in their $500k/year club membership.

Trump has made $2 billion peddling merchandise out of the oval office and making illicit deals with foreign countries.
Every time Trump runs off to play golf Donnie goes to one of his own resorts and all the money paid for rooms, food or on anything else spent at the resort goes straight into Trump‘s pockets. Whenever he meets with foreign dignitaries and they go to one of his resorts he charges the government at a higher rate than his other clientele.
Of course, all the money spent for these trips comes straight out of the taxpayers pockets and straight into his.

64

u/thegameisafoooooot 1d ago

But he donated his $400,000 salary. Isn't that the ultimate sacrifice? Lol. His followers are fuckwits.

21

u/Peregrine79 1d ago

7

u/JustinDestruction 1d ago edited 1d ago

He “donates” it to one of his CONVICTED scam charities. His scumbag attorney runs DOJ, there is no supervision on the corruption AND his geriatric husk will be DEAD shortly after his term ends, so any prosecution will be pointless.

What’s really scary is the NEXT clown will see this as a springboard to new levels of unbelievable corruption. No President will be compelled to reveal taxes, blind asset holding or emoluments, unless Congress passes new laws, which similarly will never happen.

12

u/Nethias25 1d ago

I did the math and a person donating $20 on the year with 100k a year income is about in scale with Trump donating his 400k salary. It's literally like a lunch at five guys to him.

11

u/kasmackity 1d ago

32

u/ArdenJaguar 16h ago

$3.6b is 900x the salary of $400k. I’d be happy to sacrifice the $79k a year I receive to get back $71m. Where do I sign up?

What donations? If Trump actually donated his salary, he would make a show about it that every month he is on the news and signs it over. Yet we don't have that, proving Trump isn't doing it at all. Again, if he was, he would be bragging about it each month.

7

What MAGA doesn't realize is that I don't WANT the president to donate all of his salary. This isn't the flex they think it is.

If he takes a salary, if he NEEDS a salary, that means his first goals are to America and the American people, and he's more humble and vulnerable.

If he DOESN'T take a salary, then that means he's rich enough that he's largely sheltered from any issues America might have, so it doesn't matter to him if his policies bring disaster.

7

u/Greedy-Thought6188 1d ago

Other than that, if I could blatantly manipulate the global markets with a tweet I could donate all my salary. Hell, a few options here and there and I don't think making a few billions would be hard. Although, we already know that, just ask Barron Trump

Finally I would ask how much of a difference is there between his salary as president vs what he has earned in the billions though backroom deals and insider trading as president this term?

Just three, simple, questions no MAGA would actually answer without deflection and whataboutism.

But Trump has bilked billions of dollars from the US treasury, in one scheme after another. So his 400k salary is no big deal, he'll leave the white house having enriched himself more than ALL of the previous presidents combined.

First off is there any proof that Trump donates his salary? This is the guy that allegedly cashed a 13¢ check

Need to see those tax returns!

Oh, still under audit, huh? Over a decade later? OK, I trust you.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually as of a few months back, Trump and his ENTIRE FAMILY are immune to any IRS audits forever! Dont you love the Supreme Court?

It's insane that 1/3 of Americans live in a completely fabricated reality. I truly don't understand how America functions in the future when so many people are that fucking stupid and easy to manipulate. It's just absolutely pathetic

9

u/Laz3r_Fac3 1d ago

The part that I find insane is the 1/3 that’s so checked out that they can be hoodwinked into voting for these blatant criminals, or cant be motivated to vote at all.

Only one president has made 4 billion dollars while in office.

14

u/Queasy_Badger9252 18h ago

Exactly.

400k USD (4 years presidential salary) is less than 0.001%

Lemme go rob a bank, get a million dollars and then donate a 10 dollars to charity. Where's my Nobel peace prize goddamit.

Obama detangled his personal assets to avoid conflicts of interest like every president before him. Trump didn't so he could make 5 billion on crypto.

OK, and which one made billions using a war to manipulate the stock market?

You’d be surprised. In my family: Doctors, engineers and trailer trash.

Had to look it up. Michelles staff was actually around 20 people, as were previous first ladies who often used their time and influence to promote social causes. Famously Michelle Obama promoted healthy food and exercise to the youth.

However, Melania's staff is not 4. Its roughly a dozen people and she's rarely with the president and doesn't have a dedicated cause.

The Obama's had one set of secret service for Barack and one for his family.

The Trumps have one secret service details for Donald, one for Melania, one for Barron, one for Eric, one for Don Jr., one for Tiffany, one for Ivana, and each one of them gets secret service agents for their children and spouses.

Trump also revoked government security details for Anthony Fauci, and other prominent figures who he disliked.

How much did Obama spend on taxpayer funded golf games?

5

u/Wrong-Pension-4975 19h ago edited 19h ago

In his 8 years, Obama spent just 11.4% of his terms golfing.

In this term alone (not counting Infestation 1),  Dumpty has already spent 26.8% of Infestation 2, at a cost of $125-M, golfing.

Obama's TOTAL COSTS of all travel, vacays, AND golf, in 8 yrs, ran  between $85 & $105.7-M.

Dumpty's golf alone, in the 1st 2 yrs of Infestation 2, already outspent Barack for all vacay, travel, & golf together, in 8 yrs.

And remember -  Obama didn't own the courses.

Every $1 of taxpayer money spent at a Dumpty course, for food & bevs or rooms or resort fees or ____ , for the Secret Svc, for the drivers, for his personal printer, GOES IN DUMBOLD'S POCKETS.

Trump has said he is donating his salary, but that means Jack shit. I am not aware of any organization saying that they have received these donations. Feel free to show me I'm wrong - because honestly I haven't really paid attention to this since it is futile to bother error checking his many many lies. If I'm wrong, provide receipts (links to reliable sources) or stfu.

Its funny that that call Biden family the Biden crime family for making these money moves. But Trump and his family are doin it right in front of our faces and not a peep. Imagine if a Russian oligarch paid for hunters wedding that would be an up roar. But let it be a Trump kid and not a word in the media about it.

Trump grifted billions of dollars, committed the most extensive insider trading in US History, defrauded his followers of hundreds of millions of dollars in his pump and dump Crypto schemes, awarded his family members with hundreds of millions in no bid government contracts, directly stole taxpayer dollars to fund his personal election propaganda, overcharged the Secret Service by millions to stay and eat at his properties and Trump Tower during his constant vacations...I mean I could go on and on, this doesn't even cover 1% of his financial crimes against the American people. His "salary" doesn't cover one hour of grifting for him.

4

u/xefurr 1d ago

He even made sure him and his entire family can never see consequences for tax fraud. Great examples you listed in a huge list

9

u/Effective_Detail2221 19h ago

I get the racism motivation from MAGA, but to actually mention the 400k-ish that a president makes is beyond stupid. Foreign agents have dumped literal billions in trump, we can show a direct line from his crypto pump and dump to policy decisions in favor of the countries who gave him millions.

You have to be a child to think DONALD FUCKING TRUMP is sacrificing one single penny for any reason ever.

The Obamas were both still paying off their combined $80K in student loans in 2004. They were maintaining multiple residences (DC & Chicago) on their own time at the start of the presidency, too. Had to pay for their kids’ tuition and reimburse the government for all private travel, too. They didn’t inherit wealth like the Bushes or Trumps or have decades of lobbyist’s paying them big bucks like Reagan. Clinton was in a similar position when he took office, but without the burden of dual residences or student loans.

And Michelle actually showed up every day and worked on effective programs. They can fuck right off with this nonsense.

8

u/The_Dude_Abides-2146 21h ago

Trump has already stolen 4 billion through bitcoin schemes and pay for plays. All probably illegal if actually enforced. Stock trading who knows how much more than that. Fucker is the most corrupt president ever.

Every trip to his stupid golf courses transfers more than his annual salary from our tax dollars that pay for it into his bank account. And the many other corrupt ways that he enriches himself via holding that office makes the taxpayer costs of the golf trips pale in comparison.

You know who didn't do any of that bullshit? Barack Obama, who is a far better man and was a far better president by every single measure.

6

u/Significant-Order-92 1d ago

Donating 400k when your enriching yourself by millions isn't really a great comparison for someone who took his salary.

6

"Donating" his salary while grifting billions off the position isnt a flex. Keeping the salary because youre gonna use it to pay bills seems more honest to me. The presidency comes with a salary for that reason

5

Trump refuses to give up his massive holdings in companies that deal directly with the US government and openly bragged about insider trading. He also made sure his son profited off drones right before the iran war.

He doesn't need the paltry salary because he is raking it in through pure, uncut 100% corruption

You see, when you pay someone, they work for you.

When someone uses your pay to make his tax deduction bigger, they don't work for you.

4

u/fuckin-A-ok 10h ago

Maybe that's because Mrs. Obama did her actual fucking job of First Lady, and was an extremely busy one at that, whereas Melania sits around and does fuck all. In fact we have zero information about where she is or what she does. This is unheard of. Her staff of 4 (if true, which it most likely is not), makes me believe she's way overstaffed. She doesn't even have a cause. Is it still Be Best?🤪 Because it's been almost a fucking year and we haven't heard shit about it. Maybe she can lecture us more about anti-bullying while her husband attempts to humiliate journalists and Democrats, and spread lies about them (and much more!!!) on Truth Social, or at rallys (where he also makes fun of and abuses citizens that he deems out of line, ie protesting him, our constitutional right), or on the loud ass, inconsiderate as fuck helicopter pad where he takes questions, or just wherever the fuck he feels like running his mouth, usually when his fragile ego is nicked. But that trashy Slovenian, who lied to get into the country, don't do N U T H I N N N N! Good Lord she is lazy. Neither does dump truck obviously, except occasionally wake up from one of his little naps👶🏼 to make decisions that run our country further into the ground, half asleep.

But keep hate-jerking to the Obamas, republicuntz. They are a good looking duo lol, and Obama is #7 on the 2024 Presidential Greatness Project rankings😊 (most recent) Whereas Trump is #45! ROFLMAO!!! Even Biden is #14 🤣🤣🤣 These rankings were decided by scholars from multiple disciplines. So just know that no matter what, Obama will always, ALWAYS be more successful and more liked than trump BY FAR. Trump, the demented loser, and his lying, fraud committing, useless, illegally-immigrated wife, plus his anchor babies, will FOREVER be outshined by Mrs. Obama and their beautiful, upstanding children. Those young women have actual class instead of a grifter's instinct.

Here is the page with the poll if you're curious: Presidential Rankings 2024
