Perhaps because President Ford was never hit.

But he was a target on two separate occasions by two women in September 1975, in California. The first was a Manson cult member, the second an FBI informant turned left-wing activist.

This the part that bothers me that most. That somehow Kirk or Trump could realistically sit int eh same shelf as MLK, JFK, or Lincoln

This was my thought. If there were actual evidence that the Kirk shooter was a dem, the news would say so nonstop. Instead, I’be seen him mentioned like twice in the past year.
