What About Jerry Ford?
Perhaps because President Ford was never hit.
But he was a target on two separate occasions by two women in September 1975, in California. The first was a Manson cult member, the second an FBI informant turned left-wing activist.

If this were 1774, all of the red-hatted kiddie fuckers would be screaming "God Save the King!" and that fact is completely lost on them. They're somehow not privy to ideals, only political parties. They'll never understand that (for the times) Washington, Jefferson, Franklin and many many more were dreaded lib'rulls. These people champion "Freedom" out of one side of their mouth while quite literally worshipping politicians who promise to take it away out of the other.
