Looking for... Best Gym in Stuttgart (with their prices) ?
Moving to Stuttgart and I would be living in Mitte, thoughts on whats the best gym in the area? Also wouldn’t mind a Gym in West, Sud or Nord. Im also a student so I’ll mostly have student discounts. I mostly do strength training. Thank you for participating and helping me out :))

You should try McFit Mühlhausen, I tried every gym in Stuttgart and thats the best gym. But Never Go to McFit in the City Center, its the worst Gym I ever went to

Is the one in Konigstraße better or the one in Stuttgart west? Any ideas on the cost?

I go to Fitness First (red) and pay 27,80 € every other week. They're quite good, but a bit pricy

I heard about Fitness first that cancelling a membership is very difficult and you have to keep paying for few more months before they finally cancel, is it true?

Fitness first. Huge gym. Specially the one next to Bad Cannstatt train station. Check them out before getting membership. McFit is too busy and not as clean as one should like.

Fitness first in BC is tiny. Go to fitness first in Hauptstätter Straße (for OP: its Mitte), the have 5 floors and way more machines and stuff than BC. Used to Mitte, I once was in BC and I was heavily disappointed

TuS Fit near the Fernsehturm. It does not offer much but it‘s quiet and the people who go there are pretty chill. Parking spots are always available.

I’ve had a membership at Fit One/Fitness First since I moved here in 2023.
Pros: huge, a decent range of equipment, reasonably priced (previous US membership was $110/month compared to the €45/month I pay currently), good hours (6am - 12am), and generally clean.
Cons: crowded af - unless you go first thing (6am), or between 1030am-130pm, expect to have to modify your program/wait for equipment, as there are almost always people waiting, and not usually friendly in asking to work in (my experience only); limited power racks (5 on the third floor, 7 on the 4th, 3 on the 2nd) = standing around waiting for people that usually take a lot of time to finish; people hardly follow the house rules (hausordnung) that are posted everywhere - nearly no one reracks weights, people leave dumbbells and kettlebells all over, people taking up multiple pieces of equipment at one time, etc; not as hygienic as it seems - most people use towels, but that’s about it; limited on certain equipment (esp. leg extension and leg curl); gym influencer people abound.
Overall: it’s a solid gym, with most of the issues coming from people that behave poorly, and it is convenient to a lot of stuff, so worth checking out as an option, but elements and Jonny M seem to be overall better, just more expensive. That is solely based on other people’s info though, as I’ve only used this gym (the one near Marienplatz) due to where I live.

Gym 10 was really affordable , about 10 bucks for a 2 year contract and you can cancel if you’re moving away. It has a separate ( but small) space for women and if you don’t care about fancy machines, it’s really good for getting the work done

I’ve been to both McFit and AI Fitness (jumpers) and there is a big big difference. Jumpers is at Degerloch and much more hygienic. As a student I pay €25.

Puls is quite excellent, but rather pricey 75€ (or more a month) + optional quarterly fee if you want to use the taps for drinks.
