My friends dad had one of these. It was awesome looking. He could barely get change in a toll with the windows.

Nice. I really need to get mine out of the garage at some point.

I miss my XT6 now. If I would have had the mechanical skills then that I have not to fix the air struts and window lifts… But with four kids, it wasn’t very practical either.

Those things are sick. How many replacement transmissions do you have in stock?

Awesome! What engine? I’ve always loved how oddly unique these are. I mean it fits Subaru’s MO especially with the Brat and Baja, but yet it’s unlike anything they’ve done either lol

Stock engine! The engines are really nice and non interference so not a whole lot can go catastrophically wrong

I have a whole write up for it. It’s actually not that hard, barely any fab work is necessary

I don't know what that is but it's really cool looking.

SVX. The best-looking car Subaru ever made. 6 cylinders of fury. Automatic-only killed its sportiness though.

You are a brave soul to have that vehicle in Pennsylvania. Pothole Paradise.

These look thecpart for sure. Grossly under performed though. Shame

The engines were silky smooth and powerful enough. The transmissions really let them down. Manual transmission swaps are very common now.
I actually swapped the EG33 into a Forester a long time ago. It was a fun project.

I've heard that.. shame they didn't do it in the first place or drop a turbo in it also. really could have made that car something very special.

Had a coupe of SVX’s back in the day. Fun cars that get a lot of looks, even in the 90’s! Take care of the seude and the transmission!

I assume the RWD conversion drops some weight? What a riot, great job with the car!

Just the front axle shafts! So not too much. Less power loss through spinning parts though, but not noticeable
