I’m really not a fan of Dananai, the bought the fountains, it’s run down and empty. The bought the complex down highway 59 on the other side and it’s all weird businesses, the built a huge center in harvest green that’s basically empty. The y bought the land and the only good thing there is Jus+bol, 16 Handles, and spectators. Something has to be done, these ppl don’t deserve to profit off of bs like this.

Did anyone else see the protest outside of the AMC 24 by First Colony Mall? It was 15-20 people carrying signs about how AMC hates Catholics. I could not figure out if they were protesting a specific movie and when I asked the AMC staff they said they had no idea either.

I am at my wits' end today. We live over in First Colony, and my 2yo somehow got hold of a tube of lip balm and smeared it all over the hallway carpet, right in the middle of potty training accidents from our senior cat.

My son has severe asthma, so whenever we've had carpets cleaned in the past, the heavy synthetic perfumes and harsh chemical fumes triggered horrible coughing fits for days. On top of that, standard steam cleaners leave the carpet soaked for 48 hours, which creates a huge mold anxiety for me with the humidity.

In my opinion protests are not about a single day of action. They're about showing solidarity with your neighbors, showing elected officials that the people are willing to organize, and interacting with the different organizations to find one that best aligns with you so you can start being more active in whatever cause you want to be. No, a single march is not going to do anything. But collectivizing will. Doing your part will make a difference. Even if it seems small.
