Looking for affordable short-term accommodation / house sitting – Sunshine Coast
Hey everyone,
Just putting some feelers out there to see if anyone has suggestions or knows of any affordable accommodation options around the Coast.
I'm a 41-year-old male, working professional, currently going through some family/relationship difficulties and just needing a bit of space while things settle.
Unfortunately, staying with family isn't really an option, and the cost of holiday accommodation or Airbnb-style stays isn't particularly realistic either.
I currently live in Buderim and work in Nambour/Maroochydore, so somewhere reasonably central would be ideal, but I also understand I can't be too choosy.
I'm a non-smoker, no pets, no kids, just myself. I'm tidy, quiet, respectful, employed full-time and happy to provide references if needed. I'm also in a position to pay some rent upfront if that helps.
I'm open to month-to-month rentals, granny flats, house sitting, private arrangements or anything similar.
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how long I'd need somewhere. Ideally it's just a short-term arrangement while things settle, but depending on how things play out at home, it could potentially become a longer-term situation while we sort out the family home and possibly sell.
Not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere comfortable, affordable and reasonably flexible while I work through a few things and figure out the next steps.
If anyone has suggestions, knows of anything available or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
Cheers!
