Troubleshooting & Maintenance Jura E8 machine leak

Operator error or do I need to buy new hoses?

Problem 1: beans overflowing to the bottom of the machine preventing the bottom tray to seat properly.

Fixed

Problem 2: leak at the plastic 90 degree at the ceramic.

Fixed buying a 90 degree that comes with a tube.

Installed the new part and now I have a leak at the three way valve!

Remove the valve and under a microscope I cannot see any cracks.

Do I need to buy new hoses? I have readjusted the hose clamps lots of times and just cannot find a sweet spot.

The new hose slips on a lot easier and can twist versus the old hose … not sure if this matters?

Fabric reinforced hose should never be reused, trim it back and try again. No, it should not twist. Also make sure you didn't not damage the clamp if you reused the old one.

To clarify the leak is with the new hose that fits looser than the old hose. Old hose will go back on but is “snug”. Called the US supplier and they said the new hoses will feel looser.

If I did damage the clamps … is it obvious? Heh I can install the lock clamp using the force of my fingers versus having to use pliers

And thank you for the reply!

Edit the us supplier is shopjuraparts. Person on the call said they use to repair Jura machines and the new new hose that fits looser than the old will work ….

The new hose they sold you is clearly out of specs. Genuine jura part is so tight you have to moisten it to attach it to the fitting. If you didn't use any tools the clamp is fine but is designed for jura genuine hose not the one they sold you.
