Vol. 1 Absolute Swamp Thing by Alan Moore?
I was considering getting the Alan Moore absolutes. I was reading the initial release of the absolutes have binding tearing/separation issues. Has that since been fixed with the later releases?
Is there a huge difference between the Dark Genesis release in December, besides the paper and coloring?
Should I start with the Bronze Age omnibus before reading the absolutes?

IDK if you out of the loop or not but DC is going to reprint bronze age material (basically everything before Moore) in 2-volume omnibus box set this December. It will be more complete than Bronze age omnibus and it will have better reproduction of original comics

Do we know what the differences are between the Bronze Age omnibus and the new set?

Yes. When Swamp Thing Vol. 1 was cancelled Swamp Thing story continued in other series (mainly Challengers Of The Unknown), these stories weren't collected in the Bronze Age omnibus (they were collected in the Bronze Age TPBs), but they will be collected in Dark Genesis omnibus

Is it worth for me to wait then and get the Dark Genesis set? I will most likely get the Alan Moore Absolutes this month and then would wait for Dark Genesis set if it is worth getting that over the Wein/Wrightson Absolute, unless you think the Wein/Wrightson Absolute is fine to start with.

Don't wait. Just read Moore and see if you like it. If you love it, you will most likely want to check out the Bronze Age material after that

I might start with the Wein/Wrightson Absolute and then go right to the Alan Moore stuff to get some background on some of the bronze age stuff.

I dont understand people who dont read the Len Wein run at the minimum. I did the Bronze Age omnibus and I couldn't put it down. There were a few rough moments, but as a whole its awesome and I recommend it.
