Tom Snyder

If you are a Tom Snyder fan, you may remember talk some years ago of a proposed documentary about him, courtesy of Snyder's daughter and I think some business partner she had. But...years have gone by, and if it ever got made I'm not aware of it. Does anyone know if Ann Marie Snyder is still trying to make that doc?

I remember hearing about that doc a while back, seemed like one of those projects that just gets stuck in development. Not sure if she's still pushing it or if it quietly fell apart. Those late night Snyder interviews were something else though, the way he'd just lean back and let the silence stretch out

those interviews really were something special and it would be a shame if the documentary ended up disappearing into the same late night void

I don't know if the doc is still being worked on. The YouTube channel which was originally Tom Who (the proposed name of the doc) is now rebranded Tom Snyder Official and has been slightly more active than it was. Meaning they've put out a few clips and shorts this year.

Man, Snyder deserves a solid documentary. His interview style was so unlike anything on TV now, especially those unedited Colloquy segments. Hope it's still in the works somewhere, even if it's stuck in development hell.
