Okay, before writing my story, let me acknowledge that I understand this is a very sensitive topic and I do not condone to racism, hate towards other nations/nationalities/ethnics and so on and so on.

Today, I was on Upward (Valve server) with a new friend of mine and during the set up time, some dudes started to speak Russian and when my friend who understood it responded in English, they commanded to use only Russian and votekicked him out. I was furious and I also put that guy on vote and managed to kick him. But, as you can guess, his friends also kicked me out from the server. And this is not the first time this is happening. Most of the rude interactions, invasive behavior were observed coming mostly from the players who speak this language.

This is NOT to say all Russians or Russophones are bad, I have Russian friends on steam and irl. And this is also NOT to say everyone else behaves very politely or respectfully. This is also NOT ignoring the influence of these people on keeping the game alive (Tbh Valve games are loved by this demographic

Also, same in Counter Strike. I played CS2 for a while, around 100 hours back in Winter and Spring and this is the same problem. Very invasive and loud and oftentimes rude.

This post was written only to share my experience and NOT to spread hate, xenophobia and so on.

Hello so i have a villinous violet sheen on my australium knife and ive also been planing to buy australium ambassodor but i dont know if i should i buy deadly daffoil or villinous violet, further ı dont know ıf should i change my knife into deadly daffoil. But i know trading my australim knife to the deadly daffoil aussie knife will waste my other cosmetics because of the fee. So thats what i have in my mind and i cant decide. Hi there, I recently created a mod for myself combining a couple of mercenary mods (cloth jigglebones, model definition, lighting, etc.) and redesigned most of the textures on my own. I want to say the mod works perfectly fine but there is a reoccurring problem that is bugging me and basically makes the game unplayable. (Yes. I AM using this mod with preloader)
I'm pretty sure my mod is the cause for this problem, however I'm sure the amount of mods I have and a couple big retexture mods have some form of impact, tho I don't want to give those up :(. But once I load into the game (takes about 5-8 minutes) I can only queue for 1 singular match before it crashes after. I can play any map, any game mode.. I can play a match for as long as I want but once the round ends and it tries to load the next match, regardless if it's the same map, once the loading bar gets to 99%.. the game completely closes.
I tried to do some digging, and I'm assuming the problem is asset-clearing/memory issues with my mod being too big in a way. I'm pretty sure my textures may be too high definition or large in some shape or form and I'm not familiar with creating loading distances for textures IF thats even a thing, again, I'm not familiar with creating mods let alone editing and creating vtf's.

What I am hopefully getting out of this is, I can add someone (Preferably discord), share the zip/vpk and have someone find the problem or fix the problem for me. This is not some bizarre way to advertise this mod either, it uses content from other modders which I would consider unfair and basically isn't my mod. Thank you

I am interested in hosting a TF2 server, as it is something I've wanted to do in the past. I wanted some help on some ideas that would make it enjoyable or make players want to play on it. If crits were disabled by default and could be turned on via a vote, no bullet spread or all talk or what maps type deal. I want to try and keep it somewhat vanilla and some light plugins but unsure on what. Let me know what you guys think! My idea is run it for a month only and see how many people play, what issues they have type of deal. Thanks!
