Obviously no hate to Resident Evil because I love the games but one criticism I have of it is that it feels like the women always have to look pretty no matter what they've gone through.
I'm not saying this applies to every female character in Resident Evil, just a few. But this just makes me appreciate The Last of Us even more.

I've been working on a mod that adds two-player online co-op to No Return. Right now it syncs:

• player movement and animations
• weapons, the backpack and flashlights
• melee, including grabs, stealth kills, knockdowns and finishers
• enemies and their AI, both human and infected
• damage and deaths

The first goal is fully working co-op in No Return. After that I plan to bring co-op to the single-player campaign, then a PvP mode.

Stay tuned. In a future post I'll show enemy sync in action: loading into a map, playing through it and finishing an encounter together.

There's no download yet. When it releases, it will be completely free and open source. This is a fan project, not affiliated with Naughty Dog or Sony. The mod won't include any of the game's original code or files. It will require a legitimate copy of the game. We don't support piracy and never will.
