Burger King TMBG

In a Burger King and I Am A Paleontologist just played on their radio. Pretty cool. That is all.

I once heard "Santa's Beard" at a Chilis with my mom. It was a weird experience.

I think that ranks higher on the unexpectedness scale. I mean I never expect to hear TMBG when I'm out and about, anything other than the usual suspects is welcome, but this would definitely set me wondering.

I heard both Careless Santa and Santa's Beard at a Chili's in Florida once. They also played Santa Claus but it was the Sonics original version, not the TMBG cover.

I felt like I was being monitored by the FBI

So I went to a local game store recently and while I was looking around, I realized I was hearing they might be Giants but my headphones were not on. The song ended and another came on. I asked the guy behind the counter if it was a playlist or something. He said yes the owner loves TMBG and put on a playlist of nothing but them for a game party that she was hosting in the store that day. The owner asked the party what kind of music they wanted to listen to and the response was "nerdy rock music" the owner of the store said "I've got just the group!"

I made sure to tell her how cool I thought that was :-)

I used to work at Big 5 Sporting Goods and they played I Am A Paleontologist on the radio in the last few months I was there, it was awesome!

I heard I Am A Paleontologist at Micro Center a few months ago. Maybe they use the same music playlist.

In 1998 I was skiing down Alyeska in Alaska and they were playing Flood in its entirety in the cafe halfway down the mountain. I stuck around longer than I’d planned just to enjoy it while warming up.
