Zach loves Scottie and the Raps and I love him for that. It helps that he’s the most credible mainstream analyst around

[u/Eagerbeaver98 → u/WeBelieveIn4]

Its because his wife is from here. But yes scottie is amazingly good on defense, better than some past dpoys too like giannis and gobert. Surprised og has never won either

[u/Lmt_P]

probably still wont make first 1st team defence with these dumb voters

[u/tonydanzatapdances → u/Lmt_P]

Hey man, they need room for the entire Celtics starting 5 you just don’t get it

[u/Ambitious-Ad2226 → u/Lmt_P]

We’ll have actual media coverage this year so hopefully he’ll be noticed

[u/throwawaythisuser1]

His biggest feat, is convincing perennial Celtics glazer Bill Simmons, that the Raps will be actual threats in the east

[u/CazOnReddit → u/throwawaythisuser1]

Bill was genuinely insufferable last season when we started to fall in the standings after he already conceded they were a good team and lost his bet to Kendrick Perkins

[u/UjiriWatcher → u/throwawaythisuser1]

They’re gonna vote for Mitchell Robinson first all D

[u/NZafe]

There’s going to be a similar prediction every year until Wemby gets like 4 of ‘em. “It’s Wemby if he plays enough games”.

After 4, the voters will have to decide if they want to make him the “best defender of all time” or start giving the award to someone else, similar to Gobert’s stark drop off in voter support for the award.

[u/Biscuitbaby_]

too bad the voters already penciled in Derrick white for DPOY

[u/zayvers]

if wemby PLAYS 65+ games I will always have Scottie
