How rare is this combination of a 2JZ GE with a manual transmission on a Crown?
Not sure if I should buy it: will appreciate some advice.

I recently got a 2015 SE, and I want to get all of the essentials for maintenance and for emergency and safety purposes. This is what I plan to get so far. I want to balance quality and affordability.
Things that have found so far:
* 120-piece socket wrench set $39.51
* Jump start/air compressor $55.99
* phone mount $26.79 \- not set on this
Things that I am looking into:
* DashCam
* Good microfiber cloth
* A set of funnels
What else should I get? And how are my choices for the ones I've found?
Thanks in advance!

I have a 2003 Toyota Yaris, bought in Portugal, 1.0 petrol, automatic gearbox, with speed in km/h. The digital instrument cluster has stopped working (only the red tachometer light shows up, all the green lights have gone out). Toyota no longer sells this part, so I need to buy it second-hand.
Toyota told me my cluster's part number is 83800-0D330. I've been searching for the part online and can't find anything with this exact number (I only found it on one site, which I've read isn't trustworthy).
But I do find many similar ones:
* 83800-52610
* 83800-52640
* 83800-52120
Could Toyota have 2 part numbering systems? Could any of these be compatible with my car?

Hi, I just reinstalled both my drive shafts on my Toyota echo for the first time. Each side had a little play. I can move the shell that enters the transmission a few mm in and out the transmission. When I try pull it out it doesnât come out. The shell kind of just moves a few mm out then clicks, moves and few mm back in then clicks and repeat. Is this normal? The shell Iâm talking about is in the photo

Hey everyone, I have 2 toyota corollas. One is a parts car with a good engine (99), and another one (02) that has a bad bottom end on the motor. I wondering if its posible to use the lower end from the 99 corolla and the head from the 02 corola to make some sort of mismached engine that'll run. The only main diffrence whould be some electrical conectors and the VVT? Is this something thats possible?

Not surprised with the quality. 1,800 miles and the engine rear main seal already was leaking.
God knows what sensors is wrong.

I saw this and was wondering what car it is. Those look like mid 80s Toyota pedals but Iâm not aware of one that also has a foot parking brake.

I have a 2022 Camry LE and recently installed TT-ABC RGB quad projector headlights. Lights work (brighter than stock), RGB and DRLs work, but I get the âLED Head Light System â A malfunction in the LED headlight System has been detectedâ popup and DTC B2430 as soon as the low beams are turned on.
Factory assemblies are 12 V 8.5 W. These aftermarket ones pull significantly more. Code clears when the car turns back on, but comes right back the next time the headlights are switched on. I tried plugging in the driver side factory light to see if there was something about the communication between the ecu and light that would fix it but having the 1 aftermarket light in still throws the code.
Has anyone with a 2018â2024 Camry and full aftermarket assemblies (TT-ABC or similar) actually cleared B2430 permanently?
Considering:
1kΩ pull-down on the pulse/feedback pin
CANBUS decoders

When I try to adjust the volume while nothing is playing then I get a little error message on the touch screen that says volume cannot be adjusted while audio is paused, this message will pop up even when Android Auto is not on.
I feel like on a surface level this design decision makes no sense, there are tons of situations where I might want to pause my music and then adjust the volume before turning it back on. But if that was the only problem it would be manageable.
The real problem is that if I pause my music/audiobook and then play a video with audio on reddit or my phone video gallery it won't register to the vehicle that I am currently playing audio and so it won't let me adjust the volume. So if I just paused the music I was listening to at a slightly loud volume then play a video on reddit, the audio from the video will be absurdly loud (it feels even louder than the music was for some reason) and it won't let me turn it down. I have to go unpause my music, turn the volume down, then go back to reddit if I want to hear that video's audio at a reasonable volume level. Same thing happens if I try to play a video from my phone gallery, the audio will be loud as fuck and it won't let me adjust it.
I'm not entirely sure if this is an issue with the Toyota software that runs the dashboard touchscreen or an Android Auto issue, but I think I remember it not being a problem on a different car that I have used Android Auto on before.

Purchased a 2013 Toyota corolla S of july of this year. These have always been on the dashboard im pretty sure its just sensors seeing theres zero problem with it while driving. If I had the manual for it id referrer to that but it did not have one with it.
-The brake light sometimes comes on after starting the and sometimes doesnt. Break fluid doesnt seem to below the line but it does look a little close so it could be that
-The (!) light blinks for a good 30 seconds after starting the car
-The other two just stay solid
What is the best way on identifying what sensors are bad, is it just checking codes? Im hoping to do this by myself as much as I can so I can get a better idea on keeping it 100% !!

Iâm sitting in my 2020 RAV4 Mark 5 Excel. My wife and I have just flown back to the UK after 9 glorious days in Spain.Â
Weâre in Luton Airport car park and the car wonât start. Iâm pretty sure the small 12V battery is flat.
Britannia Rescue are on their way. While weâre waiting for them to get the car going I realised we will need to buy a new 12V battery. The car is still on the original battery. 6 years is a long time to ask of one of these.
We have a solar battery charger and a battery booster pack but theyâre at home 30 miles away. Yes, I know. đ
What I would like to know is, if I buy a replacement 12V battery, can I just fit it in place of the failed battery or do I need to take it to a Toyota dealer to have it coded to the carâs electrical system?
Obviously I would prefer to fit it myself if at all possible. Please advise? đ

My 1.2L sedan barely gives 11â12 kmpl in daily bumper-to-bumper traffic, while a 1,650 kg Camry with a huge 2.5L engine easily pulls 20+ kmpl on the exact same route.
It basically comes down to 4 things working together:
Every time I brake for a speedbreaker or e-rickshaw, I waste petrol as heat. The Camry uses that braking momentum to charge its battery.
Normal engines drink the most fuel idling at signals and crawling in 1st gear. The Camry just keeps its engine off in jams and moves purely on the electric motor.
It uses an Atkinson cycle engine (41% efficiency vs ~28% in regular cars). Small cars can't use this because low-RPM pickup is terrible, but the Camry's electric motor covers that torque gap instantly.
Its e-CVT has no belts or clutchesâwhenever the petrol engine does turn on, it stays locked at its sweet-spot RPM and dumps any extra power back into the battery.
I'm out here sweating over clutch control to squeeze out 12 kmpl while the guy in a 50L car is chilling on ventilated seats running on free energy from the last red light.

For a little context, Iâm a 21 year old that is currently driving a fwd Toyota Camry. I live in area with long winters with roads that sometimes donât get plowed. In the summers I do like to go camping a good amount and sometimes need to go to sketchy areas to get to my fishing spot (Driving on the beach or going on a bumpy road). I am a lot more well off in terms of my finances compared to when I bought my Camry, so gas mileage is not as big of a deal as it used to be. I chose these two particular models and trims because the monthly cost is what I am comfortable with. Would love to hear some thoughts and good advice from owners of these vehicles.

My mum has a 2019 corolla hybrid estate. She transported a second hand dishwasher in her boot and it turns out they didn't drain it. So boot go flooded, she's dried out the boot all the way down to the wheel well but now when she drives she has a sloshing sound from the rear wheel/passenger area. We can bounce the rear of the car and hear it.
I've removed the underside rear panel which was soaked but no pool to create a slosh
So where do I look to find this pool of water? If anyone has links to a build diagram that would be useful
