even if they don't have time for BIWF i feel like the era of long form podcasts is now over and we're moving into bitesized chunks*. 15 minute updates, summaries, 20 minute bonus content and max 30 minute episodes are the future. perhaps with serious and comedic halves separated to avoid jarring shift in tone. They need to get ahead of the curve by just sending us the recording of a 15 minute a 10 minute phone call for breakfast update. it's where I got all my cooking advice.

Fifteen minutes works when a show is just information. TF at 15 minutes would lose the ramble building up steam, and the ramble is most of the product. Breakfast update was fun as a bonus, but as the main feed it would just feel like getting the trailer instead of the film.

half of the 8-hour-long dark souls 3 episode was taken up by him, spencer and andrew from e1 recounting their most embarrassing experiences as teenagers and tangentially connecting them to the game; it makes for a great comedy podcast if you break it up into chunks

It was background noise for me but it was worth it for the episode were the ran out kf time before getting to bones
