Some asshat with no braincells left this in the hallway outside their apartment. After some research this is about $2k worth of nitrous. That's a lot of desserts

You found a flaw in how broadly I worded my argument, not a flaw in the argument itself. Stop trying so hard to be right and just talk to me.

I can't read subtext that isn't there, how would you expect someone to know you didn't mean what you typed?

You’re right that my wording was broader than the point I meant to make. I should’ve said “ordinary consumer product” rather than just “product.”

But clarification isn’t the same thing as inventing subtext after the fact. Once I explained the distinction I was making, continuing to argue against the broadest possible reading of the original sentence instead of the clarified argument becomes a semantic argument, not a substantive one.

So yes, I could’ve worded it better.

Now that the meaning is clear, address that argument.
