Did he use a hair system? You can clearly see his hair is thinning back in OK computer era(1997) and yet now he still have full head of hairs

I’ve seen a lot of people on here saying that 1mg finasteride doesn’t affect male fertility, or that the risks are massively exaggerated.
I wanted to share a real example that suggests otherwise, but also offers some reassurance to anyone worried about their fertility after taking finasteride.
1mg finasteride daily for approximately three years and stopped when trying to conceive.
Initial semen testing showed a low sperm concentration and poor progressive motility.
Here’s how the results changed after:
INITIAL RESULTS (around the time of stopping)
● Sperm concentration: 8 million/mL
● Total sperm count: 32 million
● Progressive motility: 21%
● Progressively motile sperm count: 6.7 million
4 WEEKS OFF FINASTERIDE
● Sperm concentration: 21.3 million/mL
● Total sperm count: 85.2 million
● Progressive motility: 22.6%
● Progressively motile sperm count: 19.3 million
8 WEEKS OFF FINASTERIDE
● Sperm concentration: 73.6 million/mL
● Total sperm count: 147.2 million
● Progressive motility: 36.8%
● Progressively motile sperm count: 54.2 million
12 WEEKS OFF FINASTERIDE
Not yet tested. Planning to reassess at the 12-week mark.
THE IMPROVEMENT
In just eight weeks:
● Sperm concentration increased more than ninefold.
● Progressive motility improved from 21% to 36.8%.
● Progressively motile sperm count increased approximately eightfold.
What’s particularly encouraging is that this improvement happened within eight weeks, despite sperm production taking roughly three months.
The tests were conducted using ExSeed, with the latest results reviewed following discrepancies in the initial automated readings. They haven’t been independently confirmed by a laboratory.
Nicotine was also stopped around the same time, so it’s not possible to attribute the entire improvement to finasteride withdrawal.
However, there is published research showing that finasteride can significantly reduce sperm counts in some men, with improvements following discontinuation.
The point isn’t that finasteride makes everyone infertile. It’s that saying 1mg cannot affect fertility is simply wrong.
And equally importantly, if it does affect your sperm parameters, that doesn’t necessarily mean the damage is permanent or that recovery will take years.
This example shows how substantial improvements can occur within a relatively short period after stopping.
For anyone taking finasteride who’s planning to have children, I’d seriously consider getting a semen analysis rather than assuming everything is fine.
And for anyone who’s stopped because of fertility concerns, don’t automatically assume the worst. Recovery may happen faster than you expect.

These are my (25M) results after about 6 months of topical minoxidil once a day combined with tretinoin, and micro needling once a week. I'm seeing an endocrinologist this week to get my hormones tested and to talk about starting finasteride. I am absolutely terrified of that stuff but this hairloss shit is a serious drag on my self confidence and would love to get some better regrowth and maybe reverse some of the recession. I know finasteride is primarily for maintaining rather than regrowth, but I've seen some people come back from literally nothing while using finasteride. Do you all think it's worth it?

Hey yall so I been on this for 7months total as of today and I just wanted to get some feedback to see if I’m making decent progress or not, first of all I know is not the same length and lighting so please just know that I’m aware it’s hard to compare.
Is this good progress for 7months on this protocol? Sometimes I feel like I’m loosing my time because my hair is still very very thin.
I also want to add I do use topical minoxidil twice a day daily and derma rolling 3 times a week as well. First 3 pictures are from the first two months of treatment and then the rest is today.

I've never used or taken minoxidil, but am considering it. Also haven't made any dietary or lifestyle changes in the past year. The only thing I've done for hair loss is take a 1mg tablet of finasteride daily.
I personally think my hairline and temples look a bit better overall.
What do you guys think, have I made any progress?

Hello, I just wanted to tell a quick story about a conversation with my mum. I was so angry at her for this. Me and my mum were sitting in a car and i had my hoodie on with my cap. She Said Why do you put your cap on so much? you know you will go bald because of this right. I replied just because I wanted to. She Said you will go bald because of that. I was so angry because most women don’t know what we are going trough and think it is a health issue, while the main reason is genetics and dht. I really was so irritated by it because how are people so dum.
Ps: sorry for my english

Finasteride 1mg (propecia) - 1 daily in the morning
Oral Minoxidil 2.5mg (Loniten) - 2 daily in the morning
Vitamin D 50000u - 1 weekly
Finasteride nor minoxidil have given me any side effects, I’m just happier and more motivated to take care of myself. If you’re worried about side effects, so was I.

TL;DR at the end
I also use topical min and microneedling every now and then, like twice a month, but I'm inconsistent.
I've been off oral min for a month because of my own failure to buy it.
My progress is being slow, but I can see how it's getting better over time. Today I feel my hair WAY denser compared to a few months ago, what I notice the most is really the density.
I still have hair loss, but it's much less than it was before, and I feel like I still have a lot of progress to make. I think I can populate my temples with small hairs (I know they won't grow much), but at least it would give some darkness there. I still feel the front part of my hair with short strands and even though I feel like they are growing to become the size of the rest of the hair, new ones are always growing, and this ends up leaving the front part of my hair with a different texture from the rest, I don't know if this will change over time.
Regarding side effects, my libido was affected... a lot! Before, I used to wake up rock hard every day and felt horny frequently, today I still wake up hard, but many times half-chub and it goes away fast. I did testosterone tests before and it was at 1000, today I don't know how much I have. I still have my libido and I can still have sexual relations, but I can't say that the medication didn't affect me, and this is more my psychological side, because having a libido, in my concept, is extremely important. I chose my returning self-esteem at the price of a portion of my libido. My plan is to get a transplant in the future and decrease the use of DUT, because then I can recover my libido.
Great medications, trust the process, in another 7 months I'll be back with more hair and show you guys.
TL;DR: 7 months on DUT 0.5mg and 3mg oral MIN. Slow progress, but noticeable increase in hair density and reduced hair loss. Front hair texture is different due to new short hairs constantly growing. Libido and erection quality were noticeably reduced, but still able to have sex. Planning a future hair transplant to reduce DUT dosage and regain libido. Trust the process.

I just saw this in my Twitter feed today. Anagen is a startup-adjacent biotech company that is releasing a new topical named diazoxide.
Diazoxide, from what I’ve read about it, acts very similarly to minoxidil but also a little differently. Some science behind it I’m not privy to. But it’s interesting!
I didn’t see anything from anyone on here about it. We’re all waiting for PP405 and clascoterone and etc. I’m wondering how much more effective this could be for male pattern baldness compared to minoxidil. I have a ruined hairline, for instance, and if this stuff could induce regrowth in my temples I’d probably buy it immediately.
Any thoughts on this stuff from anyone more versed in the science behind treatments like this than I am?

Also was using a derma stamp 0.5mm once a week and ketoconazole shampoo twice a week. Recently started topical ketoconazole 3 times a week (just last week).
Will be switching to 0.5mg dutasteride next week to chase even more growth.
No negative side effects. Maybe libido took a slight hit I’m not sure. I’m also taking retatrutide though and so my desire for sex was greatly reduced from the retatrutide. I’m happy with whatever is going on though I’m not concerned.

Not sure if I should shave it or should I try to do something like apple cider vinegar on the scalp?

I saw this image on Kintor’s website nearly a year ago and nobody has even bothered to mention it.
What the flying post finasteride hard flaccid dick is this shit?
This looks like someone went into a cracked photoshop and used the DODGE tool on this poor bastard’s crown and called it a day.
You can actually see the outline of the circle.
When cosmeRNA pulled this shit everyone passed it around and boycotted the company.
Now people are lapping this shit up claiming it’s a viable option besides fin and dut.
I will never touch KX826 and this is pretty much the reason why.
RU58841 is stronger and cheaper anyway.
What do you guys think?
