Huge fan of The Doors. That first album is such a banger 10/10

I feel like Portishead’s second album should be on this list. All three are top tier.

I first heard plantasia last year when I was at the horticulture conservatory in Milwaukee. It sounded other worldly and I was instantly in love. They played the whole record while I was there

We have extremely similar tastes, except I have no idea what Plantasia is. Can you give me your quickie summary?

Mother Earth's Plantasia by Mort Garson. I'm just in love with this one - cover, all pieces, the whole atmosphere it creates on my daydreamer mind since years. It has tho not a lot to do with trip hop

Btw, Beck played Plantasia when he did a set at SFMoMA and Devon Turnbull’s HiFi Listening Room at the Art of Noise exhibition. Joint was packed.

Trip hop?

Northern Sulphuric Soul - Rae & Christian Walking Wounded - EBTG Lamb; Fear of Fours, What Sound - Lamb

(Besides Mezzanine as poster child ofc)

Blackstar was an album I was not prepared for the first time listening to it. To this day it can bring tears to my eyes without warning. It is a haunting parting swan song from Bowie.

I feel bad that I never got Lovage, a few listens but it never stuck with me.

I enjoy most of these albums. Personally I never really connected with the velvet underground I know a lot of people praise Lord read for a songwriting but I'm not really my thing. And the final cut is an interesting choice for Pink Floyd.
