Tattoos

What's the best place to get black/grey shade tattoos in and around the Turku area? Any recommendations or places to avoid?

Cleopatra ink is closed? Atleast their shop in the city centre has been closed for a long time already. And for op, i recommend gang tattoo shop! I got one of my tattoos there and i liked the results, i have seen their other tattoos in their insta, @gangtattoo.turku

It's alr, in google it says permanently closed, so i guess no one wanted their tattoos anymore, i took a nose piercing there and it was horrible, the person who did it, took like 20mins in total, (other places has done my piercings in max 5mins) and also poked me in my eye with something, so i can only imagine how they did tattoos...

Nah, I've just heard bad things about them around. It's a chain shop, I've seen it described in other threads as the "McDonald's of tattoo shops".

I do actually have a tattoo from them, but it's a small simple 15 minute one I got on a whim. No regrets but it definitely isn't as solid as my others.

I have a much better tattoo by Sammy from Turku Tattoo Parlor, recommend.

You know it! Funnily enough I actually got a tattoo in your home country just a few weeks back. I've also got one scheduled next month in Helsinki.

The reason I knew about the McDonald's comment is because I was looking into Turku tattoo shops online a lot the last few weeks.

My conclusion was that I'd rather take a train down to Helsinki and have more options, there's a lot more artists there with more interesting styles. I'm sure there are still good artists closer to home though.

I think it just comes with the population. The UK has so many good artists. But damn they had long wait lists. What did you end up getting? A union Jack? 😂
