Don’t know where you’re from but here in the USA voting is a RIGHT given to us to change our leadership when they are not doing the business we elected them to do. Same here in Texas. The toxic GOP has commanded the top leadership exclusively since 1996 and the state has regressed in almost every way since then. Voter apathy and gerrymandering has kept them in power. Pissing off students probably isn’t going to win those bozos this election.

Native 55+ aged Texan here. Don’t move to Texas. Texas’ toxic GOP leadership made autonomous decisions a young woman might need to make illegal. Teacher pay and support is pathetic here. Public schools are not supported by this state. The weather is bipolar and the electric grid is run by idiot sycophants of a pathetic governor, who also is trying to gentrify and whitewash all levels of education. Seriously, go to a blue state like Massachusetts, New York, California, etc., where public schools and their teachers, are respected and supported, as well as paid well. There are so many things to love about Texas, but until this toxic leadership is out I won’t support telling any young woman to move here. Visit, sure. Good luck to you.

Incorrect. More registered Democratic voters. FIve thirty eight predicted in 2024 if ~44% of registered Democrats voted in Texas they would win. I’ll go back and find that to edit exact percentage but it’s true. Democrats register then don’t vote because of 1- apathy, and 2- gerrymandering.
