Advice needed: Hummingbird feeders
 in  r/Beekeeping •  23d ago

I found if I was very careful not to get sugarwater on the outside of the feeder, bees leave it alone. I used to tilt it to "prime" it, now I dont. Gently hang it up and dont spill a drop for the bees. They'll leave eventually. Most feeders have bee baffles and they cant reach the sugar water as long as you dont splash

What can I do for my Aglaonema?

Please help the coffee plant that lives at work!
 in  r/houseplants •  25d ago

Aww, I'd ask first, then take him home. Cut his rootball out of the pot (itll be trapped by the small opening). Loosen roots and plant in terra cotta or plastic pot withdrainage holes, in a lightweight potting mix. Give him some good light (by a window or outside in shade) Thank you for saving his life ♡

What plant do you think would look good on the bottom shelf of this plant stand? Looking to get a gift for someone
 in  r/houseplants •  26d ago

I just love the pink and red aglaonemas they have now. Perhaps a 6" pot of one of those? They grow out bushy, not too tall or long, would be perfect there

Angelonia angustifolia (Summer Snapdragon)
 in  r/BotanicalPorn •  26d ago

I bought a pretty pink one that said it would attract hummingbirds. It did better the 2nd year and now it has disappeared. Birds didn't really care for it

Anybody else still have Hummingbirds flying around?

Last time these beauties will be blooming for me until next year Gloriosa Superba ‘Flame Lily’
 in  r/houseplants •  28d ago

Mom called ours a hurricane lily. Supposed to be because they bloom during hurricane season. I've always loved them ♡

Any recommendations for a grow light that could hit all 4 tiers of this rack?
 in  r/houseplants •  28d ago

Im not sure about a grow light , but move the money plant to where the snake is. Put the snake up top, they hardly need light at all

Time to repot? If so what soil
 in  r/plants •  Sep 19 '26

Beautiful specimen, and yes, repot. Choose a pot a few inches bigger and get some light potting mix. I dont like Miracle Gro brand, always has fungus gnats. Pick up the bag to judge if it's light (peat) or heavy (sand)
