Uncharted 3 Uncharted 3 — Chapter 17: Stowaway. Running on the PC port.

This is my recording of the PC port. made by zorde23.

The game runs at a smooth 60 FPS in 4K on my PC, with some stuttering here and there. I have an RX 5700 XT and a Ryzen 5 5600. Idk why Sony and ND didn't port the original trilogy when they had the chance. Oh well, people will find a way to play these beautiful games on PC one way or another.

First, there was RPCS3, which, don't get me wrong, was a huge achievement, but it required such a powerful PC to run at 60 FPS that it was basically unviable for most people. ShadPS4 was more of the same.

UPDATE: Finally managed to compile a fix for Uncharted 2 startup crashes! (Dev Build Test) 🛠️🔥

I've been messing around with the latest source tree and custom memory hooks to bypass the initial engine block. Good news: I finally got Uncharted 2 to boot directly into the game using a modified launcher build via Hydra!

As you can see from the framerate overlay, it's running incredibly smooth right after the train sequence without a single memory leak or runtime exception so far. I'm finishing a few more stabilization tests on this branch before merging or pushing anything to the public repo. We will still release it, just wait for it! 🚀

Uncharted 4 I respect Rafe as a villain and what he was trying to achieve

Let’s not get the wrong idea he’s still a terrible person and a scoundrel who’s capable of going too far and can be unpredictable at times.

That doesn’t change the fact that his goal isn’t even all that pirate wealth, but rather to prove to others—and above all to himself that he isn’t your typical lazy “nepo baby” who lives a lazy, bed of roses life without ever having to work for anything. He wants to prove that his wealth doesn’t define him and that he’s capable of earning it all on his own. Unlike Lazarevich or Marlowe, he isn’t a dangerous global threat he’s simply a rich kid who wants to prove himself. And he would have succeeded if his envy and pride hadn’t gotten the better of him; if he’d let Nathan and Sam go, he would have finally claimed that success for himself.

Lost Legacy Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is an absolute masterpiece! 🔥🎮

Just finished playing Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and WOW! What a beautiful game! 🤌❤️

As a first-time player, I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. From the storytelling and character development to the breathtaking locations, exploration, and action sequences, everything was so well done.

But the way this game builds up to its climax? ABSOLUTE CINEMA! 🔥 The tension keeps rising, the adrenaline rush is unreal, and the final stretch had me completely glued to the screen. I genuinely felt like I was part of an action-adventure blockbuster.

Chloe and Nadine were fantastic together, and the chemistry between them made the entire journey even more enjoyable. The visuals are gorgeous, the gameplay feels smooth, and the set pieces are simply phenomenal.

Honestly, I know it’s a shorter game compared to some other entries, but it never felt like it was missing anything. If anything, the pacing made the experience even better.

For me, The Lost Legacy is the BEST Uncharted experience in the franchise so far! 🏆
Hats off to Naughty Dog for delivering such an incredible experience. Truly loved every moment of it! ❤️

Now I understand why people love this franchise so much.

What do you guys think? Is The Lost Legacy underrated, or do you think another Uncharted game is better? 👀

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection crashing and freezing on PC

I'm experiencing random crashes and 1–3 second freezes every few minutes during both gameplay and cutscenes. FPS drops by around 40–50 before the game resumes.

**Specs:**

- RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

- i5-14600K

- 64GB RAM

- 1440p Ultra, uncapped FPS

GPU usage stays at 100% (60–65°C), while CPU temperature sometimes reaches 80°C.

Initially, it repeatedly crashed at the same pulley scene. Verifying Steam files fixed those crashes, but the freezing and occasional crashes continue.

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas what could be causing it?

Naughty Dog What is the next major gameplay evolution in Uncharted?

U4 was a massive step forward in terms of new additions to gameplay.

We had the hook and climbing nail as well as grass stealth and driveable vehicles given to us as new additions

The Madagascar portion and The Lost legacy also introduced a "wide-linear" format where they sort of mimic open world flow by letting players choose where they want to explore instead of a traditional linear approach

Now that Uncharted 5 is almost confirmed, what innovations would you like to see added to the gameplay?

Personally, I'd prolly want more vehicles and maybe outfit/weapon customization

Uncharted 2 Lazarevic Tent- Crushing U2

Post image
6 Upvotes

I just beat Uncharted 2 on crushing after a few years of not playing, and was shocked at how hard the Lazarevic tent encounter was.

This was only in chapter 4, but it was in my top 3 toughest encounters of the game. I knew how to manipulate the game for the West 44 ammo as well. I got it before the cut scene, after the cut scene, and after dying at the midpoint checkpoint. So, I used 18 West 44 bullets. It’s not like I was using my 45 defender.

But still the enemies were brutal. I couldn’t use the cover manipulation trick, where you use the cover, but not get attached to it, and shoot them where they can’t hit you. Because I would get flanked from the back.

Did anyone else experience this? I’m not complaining, just shocked by this difficulty.

Uncharted 4 Anyone else find Uncharted 4 harder to enjoy on repeat playthroughs?

Uncharted is one of my favourite game series, and I've played through all of them except Lost Legacy. I started what I believe is my 4th playthrough of Uncharted 4 sometime this summer, and man, I'm just not feeling it this time around.

I've been playing it on and off pretty inconsistently, and I only just reached Chapter 11 last night. I'm honestly considering dropping the playthrough altogether, which kinda sucks because I know it’s a good game I like.

It's still a great game, and the graphics hold up incredibly well, but I'm finding the pacing pretty slow this time around. The climbing, exploration, and stretches between action sequences just feel like a drag when you already know what's coming.

Even some of Sam's quips and banter are starting to feel a little cheesy to me, whereas I don't remember feeling that way before.

I don't know, maybe I've just replayed it too many times. It feels weird getting bored of a game I've enjoyed so much over the years.
Anyone else experienced this with Uncharted 4?

Quick suggestion: An Uncharted spin-off with Sam and Sully in Mexico (The perfect bridge to Lost Legacy!) 🗺️🔥

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I wrote a quick, seamless story that bridges the gap between Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, perfectly explaining why Nadine went broke and why she hates Sam so much.

The story kicks off right after UC4, with Sam and Sully using what was left of the Libertalia money to chase a lead on a Mayan treasure in Mexico. However, they get ambushed in the jungle by Nadine Ross and Shoreline. Since her mercenaries can't figure out the ancient puzzles, she takes Sully hostage and forces Sam to solve them. Inside the main chamber, Sam uses his thief wits to intentionally trigger a mechanical trap, flooding the place. In the chaotic shootout, Sam escapes with the golden artifact, but Sully gets cornered and surrenders to buy some time. Days later, Sam pulls off an explosive rescue using Sully's iconic plane. Nadine pursues them furiously to a nearby pyramid, triggering an epic climax where the temple begins to collapse, forcing all three into a frantic, temporary truce just to escape with their lives. In the end, Sam and Sully make it out with the loot, leaving Nadine completely bankrupt. This perfectly explains why she is forced to take Chloe's job at the beginning of The Lost Legacy.

What do you guys think? Would you play this spin-off? Let me know!

I think the game does a great Job of making us care about Nadine they're not saying she is a saint or something... I hate that youtubers who are following hate just because it's popular opinion.
